USSSA discount tickets

I got these the other day- just arrived here (very fast shipping) and I noticed that on the back it's printed as a "Youth" ticket - would this cause a problem at park entry when it's 2 adults, 1 17 y/o? I tried calling the office but it's after 5 on the east coast so they are closed. Anyone have any idea on that? It says on their website that the cost is the same for adult/youth tickets

it will not be a problem.

I know this is on Universals thread but after looking at the USSSA site the Disney tickets are at a huge discount but am wondering if anyone has had any problems getting these tickets to link with MDE and fast pass express? Like many others I get a little hesitant when things are almost too good to be true. The universal tickets wont save me anything since we will be going there for 3 days. Thanks for any thoughts!

Received my tickets today - states on back valid from 5/31/14 to 9/30/14. Does not effect me as we are going in July, but the web site and shipping invoice indicated they should be valid thru 12/31/14. It looks like you have to sign the front of the ticket when you enter each day for the two day ticket - wondering how that works if you are going from park to park, or leave one park and want to re-enter the same park that day.

I ordered a Disney ticket from USSSA a few weeks ago, having just found out about them. There was no problem linking the 3-day PH to the MDE system. Now I just have to wait for the 30-day FastPass+ window to open up for my July trip. I expect to see fine choices like JII and POTC. ;)

This is exciting! We are going to US/IOA for a couple of days and I hated the idea of spending that much money for tickets. I assume that since the expiration date is 9/30/14 that I can use them in July?

I too received tickets for Universal and saw the "youth" thing on the back. I immediately called USSSA and the lady in charge of that department said it is no problem. It is an internal code used by Universal. Youth is probably refers to something with USSSA. I was assured that the tickets are valid and that they are for any age group. They only sell one ticket for all ages.

The lady as USSSA says she gets these questions every day and that she might put a message on the website about the youth thing.

It looks like she followed up on that. The site now says:

"ALL UNIVERSAL STUDIO AND IOA TICKETS READ "YOUTH" ON THE BACK OF THE TICKET THIS IS JUST A CODE AND THE TICKETS ARE GOOD FOR GUESTS OF ALL AGES"

They only seem to have tickets that expire in September at the moment. We're going in late November and a 2 day p2p is the same price as purchasing a 1 day p2p through Undercover Tourist, so it's tempting. Hopefully they'll offer tickets with later expirations soon, since I'm wary of depending on Costco for my tickets this year...

USSA as of this morning says 'currently unavailable' for the Universal 2 day park to park. Does anyone know how quickly they 'restock?' Need my tickets this week thanks.

My family is a group of 6. 4 adults (my 13 yr old is considered an adult) and 2 children. We used the 2 day park to park tickets just this past April with no issues at all. They just scanned the ticket and let us right through the same as if we had tickets purchased through them. We did park hop as well with no issues. Hope this helps :)

FYI tickets are now back in stock just placed an order.

I am planning a trip for mid September. Wondering if I should buy the tickets now, since they expire at the end of Sept. or wait for a new stock that has a later expiry date?

I just bought 4 USSSA 2 Day Park to Park tickets yesterday. Came out to $135/pp including shipping. Cheaper than buying at the gate or UnderCover Tourist. We weren't planning on getting 2 day tickets, but they were even cheaper than the 1 day park to park tickets and now at least 2 of us are considering going 2 days.

I am definitely getting these tickets for US/IOA and I am considering it for WDW. But I didn't know if the discounted tickets could be upgraded to an AP and pay the difference? I really would rather get AP if I could just pay the difference.

you pay the difference on what you spent on the tickets to the price of the AP.

when guest services scans the bar on the tickets, it will reflect the original selling price.

many upgrade discounted tickets at the darkside.

Great! I don't mind paying the difference at all. I just didn't want to spend the money on the tickets and not be able to upgrade to the AP.

Sorry I know this is the Universal Studio thread but would like to ask :
Does anyone has experienced in buy their WDW ticket and going for upgrades? Can they be upgraded? Seems that they are selling a different type to other ticket reseller do. Theirs has expiry date and only valid with 7 days of first use?
