Using your Disney Reward Card to book

I have a Disney Visa Reward Card not the Premier Card. Does anyone know if you get a discount for booking your Disney Trip with it? I know you get discounts for purchasing merchandise but didn't know if you got anything for your Trip Package.

I don't remember a discount, but I did get 6 months 0% financing on my Disney trip package . . .

Correct, you do not get any discount simply for booking, but you do get 6 mos of 0% financing on PACKAGES. You could, however, get early access to certain promotions by booking with a Disney Visa such as free dining. For instance, the current free dining offer was available to DV holders 3 days prior to the general public.

How do you find out about these deals? I have had this card a few years and never hear about the free dining.

I have gotten an email in the past from the Disney Visa, but honestly have ALWAYS heard about the deal first here on Disboards!
