Hi, we (wife, 19 year old son, his GF and myself ) flying to Orlando June 20 for 5 days ( 3 day park hopper and 2 relax days poolside) . We are staying on property But NOT in a Disney Hotel, we got a 2BR condo at Bonnet Creek at a great price. I hate renting cars, to me that defeats a part of the relaxation part of vacation, so I was thinking of using Uber as much as possible , including from the Airport. I know you can't use the cheaper UberX getting picked up at the Airport, so may take a cab or bus or shuttle off airport limits and then call for regular uberX.
Once at Bonnet Creek, or any off site location, can you use Uber back and forth to the Disney Parks (or Transportation Center) without Disney charging an additonal $20 to the uber driver who then would charge me the extra 20 ? Can I have Uber drop me off at Club ESPN or the Contemporary without additional charge to use the International Gateway at Epcot ? Wyndham Bonnet Creek does have shuttle buses but says it charges $8/per person for each person for 1 Round Trip to any park, so to me $32 for 4 of us could easily become $64 if we come back for an afternoon swim or rest before heading back out at night to Epcot. Thoughts for both best (cheapest) way to get from Orlando Intl Airport to WBC , and daily transportation to Disney Parks? Thanks in advance ! It's been approx 10 years since our last trip.

I stayed at Bonnet Creek about two years ago, immediately after a 5 night stay at Pop Century. My days at Bonnet Creek were strictly for relaxing. I got to Bonnet Creek from Pop in a cab. The cost was about $10. They are very close to each other. In fact, from the high towers at Bonnet Creek, you can see the bowling pins of Pop.

This was actually my third stay at Bonnet Creek. On my 2nd stay, we used the shuttle, which at that time was $5. However, I would not recommend them at all. They were infrequent, and it's a very long walk to the drop off points at the parks.

Uber is great at wdw. I've used it multiple times to get from resort to resort, resort to putt putt, resort to TTC, but never directly to a park. You can be dropped off at Contemporary when going to MK, Transportation and Ticket Center when going to MK or Epcot, Swan/Dolphin for HS to avoid the parking lots. I don't think they charge uber to enter the parks' parking lots. For Animal Kingdom either enter the parking lot or use a Disney bus from a different park or resort.

And don't forget to utilize free uber rides. The first ride is free if you search for a code online. Then you can refer the other adults in your group. Have them install the uber app with your referral code and their first rides will be free. When one of your referrals uses your code for their first ride, you get a free ride. This only works for new customers though.

@AngiTN, thanks for the very useful link. Answers almost everyone of my questions. Still wondering about getting Uber to pick us up at the Airport MCO. Sounds like Uber X and XL still not allowed in for pickups. I guess I will either pay extra for Uber Black or take a cab or shuttle bus off airport property for a Uber X pickup. I'm not sure it's worth the aggravation of saving approx $25-40 bucks.

I recently needed transportation and ME wasn't a good fit so I tried one of the car services that come up here a lot and had great service. Costs about the same as a cab but I felt the service was much better. We didn't have bags but they offer to get your bags and even offer to stop at the grocery if you need that.
