Found the best deal on Travelocity. Flight is Westjet so no concerns. Hotel is 5 star. Just curious of anyone has had good or bad experiences with Travelocity.

RBC Avion now does their online booking through Travelocity.

I've only used them once in the past and had no issue with them. I usually compare their pricing to Expedia's and with direct pricing and all but that one time, they've been higher. So as long as you compare your pricing, if they're lower, you should have no problems.

No issues with Travelocity, I have used them in the past. I have found that I now look up the price on one of the travel sites then call the resort/hotel myself and ask them for their best price, telling them as well that I have priced it with someone else. I found that most times I can get at least the same price and then I am dealing direct no middle person.

If you are booking an all-inclusive package where the package is provided by a tour operator (transat, nolitour, westjet etc), there is never a better deal anywhere. The price is available to you wherever you book it, so why not use an agent.

sometimes a travel agent can do better for you in a way that you can't. For an example.....an agent may be able to book you a package that has a better set of flights but may show you as having a higher price. The agent may be able to have it price matched for you and then get the better set of flights for the lesser price.
