using other hotel pools

I will be staying at the ASMo and would like to check out the moderate hotels for our next visit.
So if possible I would like to leave my DD in the pool while I check out the resort
Does anyone know if this is allowed as I understand there are different rules at Disney

Disney policy is that you may only swim at the resort where you are staying, poll hopping is not allowed.

If she's old enough to be left to swim alone, just leave her at the AS Resorts to swim there while you check out the other resorts. If she's not old enough for that, then she shouldn't be left to swim alone at any resort.

I agree, if she is old to be left alone to swim, the hae her swim at the AS resorts and go where you want, if you feel comfortable doing that.

I think you posted a similar question about pool hopping a while back and the rules are still the same-you can swim in the pool of the resort you are paying for--or the sister resort--like PO-R & PO-FQ.

My honest recommendation

Have her swim stuff with you and ask the pool staff politely if it is alright... the worst they can say is no.

If the answer is no and your daughter is not interested in looking around with you...the moderates have an arcade & a playground she could play at while you are exploring.

She could also get a drink or an ice cream at the food court area and there is usually a TV area in the lobby for kids to sit and watch a movie.

From what I have seen of the pools at the Allstars they are great and a lot of fun... she may want to just stay there while you are away - but I would understand your desire to have her with you wherever you are. I would not leave my daughter at one hotel and go to another without her. (she is 9)

Hope it all works out.. it sure is fun to investigate other hotels and plan new trips..
