Using gift cards at table service restaurants

My DD and her best friend are going to Disney for their high school graduation trip. They have the QS dining plan, but plan on 1 or 2 nice sit down restaurants to celebrate. Can they use Disney gift cards to pay for their meals? They are mainly looking at restaurants in Epcot.

Yes, we paid for almost all of our meals last year using Disney gift cards.

Thank you! I figured most restaurants would be fine, but wondered if they would accept them if any of the restaurants weren’t owned by Disney.

Epcot will be no problem at all. I also haven't had any issue at places in Disney Springs. There may be some, but none that I know of.

Can't think of any TS in DS that doesn't accept gift cards.
