Using Disney visa when buying a new car?

I just purchased a car and put $10,000 down payment on visa for the points, will pay off as soon as the bill comes in. The dealer didn't want to do more tha 3,000. Walked away, said I wouldn't buy the car if he didn't let me put the 10,000 on the card. Luckily he changed his mind as I really wanted the car and was just bluffing.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Similar situation. We purchased a new Escape last month. Told the salesman upfront that putting the downpayment on our CC was intended and if that wasn't suitable we'd purchase elsewhere. No problem - $16,200.00 went on my Disney Visa :cool1: And no, they didn't make up the charge in the bottom line - in our case, we're Ford A Plan buyers - the purchase price is dictated by Ford Corporation.

1) Yep.
2) Employee rate or supplier rate, the car prices are on the computer.
. . . the local dealer ties into the manufacturer's main-frame
. . . the base price and options are automatically downloaded
. . . the display shows the customer EXACT cost and his/her rate
3) The dealership cannot move it up and charge more.

4) Of course, most people do not know about dealer hold backs and bonuses.
5) Dealers can charge you TRUE NET INVOICE and still make a lot of money.

NOTE: For others (non-employee and non-supplier), if you do your
homework, you won't get overcharged, with out without using your
credit card.

I charged $9,000.00 on my Disney Visa last month for my new Pathfinder. I wanted to do all of it, but I had a loan check already and wasn't sure how that would work. Also, the dealer knew I had the check and he didn't want to let me charge anything, but I told him the same thing, no credit card, no deal. 90 points was better than nothing.
