Using DDP Credits Before Check-In

Is it possible to start using your dining plan credits before check-in? Next week we were contemplating going straight to the park rather than check-in first but now we are wondering about using our MBs with our DDP without checking in. Has anybody done this before?

No. You still need to physically check into your reservation to activate your dining plan. It's part of a package - until you check in your package is inactive.

You can check in anytime after 6am to get your credits going.

For the duration of your exit day, you can use your credits after checking out but you physically need to check in to your resort in order to activate dining.

Your tickets would be active - but other package components (room access, dining plan) would not be until an adult presents an ID at your resort.

So you could go to a park before checking in, but not use your DDP credits to eat.
