Hey Phyllis, good to have you back! Sorry POR didn't work out for you! We were there (Bayou) about 2 years ago and it was really nice! I didn't care for the look of the mansions, though. I have to agree with WL....very nice, cozy and just wonderful! I'm glad your trip ended up better than it started!

Thanks Ami. Good to be back. Well...not really, but you know what I mean!
My last two trips seemed to have gotten off to bad starts but both ended nicely. It's all what you make of it. I figure I'm in Disney...nothing can be that bad. Disney also started putting up some of the Christmas Decorations in the WL Mercantile, as well as in the Market Place at Downtown Disney.
Saw some decorations at the MK as well. Boy..those Disney folks don't give a second thought to Thanksgiving..it's straight to Christmas the day after Holloween.

I had to work today

It looks like winter, feels like winter, acts like winter...I'm getting out my winter clothes too! Actually, I wore my boots today with my summer clothes...

I put on pants today. Well...aren't you all relieved... Seriously, what I meant was, that I put on LONG pants today. No more capris, crops, or shorts. It's back to jeans and timberlands..no more shorts and sandals. I hung on as long as I could..with the extra little trip to Florida last week I was able to extend the wearing of my summer clothes. Back here in NY it's too chilly for sandals or flip flops now. I hate it. Kind of Depressing. We did our fall clean up on Sunday..cutting down all the dead hostas, raking the leaves (which alway seem to blow to our property) and I'll plant some tulip bulbs for spring this week. At least that's something to look forward to.

I did enjoy being in Florida last week, and still seeing leaves ON the trees..and not on the ground. Flowering plants and...best of all it stayed light there later than it does here. It's dark at 5:00 here. Ughh...I hate it.
Damn...This magic wand is for crap, it really hasn't been working lately. Wish for a tiny little thing like warm weather and daylight and it craps out on me.
(I've spent to much time in Disney..can ya tell? )

Okay..as long as your being so nice..would you mind laying out in the sun a bit tomorrow..my tan is starting to fade...? Try and fit that in...between work and taking care of a four year old. Just tie that little tyke of yours to a lounge chair and tell him you have to do this for me!
