i am staying CL at teh poly in august and I get email replies with 2 hours and my calls are returned very quickly. I would never wait that long to talk to someone.

I am really past the stage of speaking to someone at IPO I would ratyher speak to someone over them.
I guess I will just call and ask to speak to someone in charge!

This who booking thing has been more annoying that planning my wedding!! LOL

Hi all,

I was just wondering how easy it is to transfer between CLs at two different resorts. We are booked for four nights in a 1 BR suite at AKL, but I would really like to change the first two nights to RPC concierge at GF because of the great location and well, just because.

Also, is it easy to work with two different IPOs at the same time. So far I have had nothing but good experiences with Don and Juanita at AKL.

All right. So, I booked GF right after I finished typing the above post. While on the phone with a very nice CM (Lizzy) at CRO, I specifically requested the main building (RPC), twice, and she assured me that this was what I was getting. When I looked up my new reservation online, however, it shows a room in Lodge concierge. Am I wrong, or is this Sugarloaf? I really, really want main building and will simply change the reservation if this is not what I am getting.

irisbud - last week we switched from BCV (after 2 nights) to AKL CL for 2 nights and it was very easy. We were heading out early in the AM to MGM SWW, so we just dropped our bags down at the stand next to the front desk (we were too impatient to wait for them to come up) and they tagged them up for the transfer. When we arrived at AKL and checked in at the valet desk (around 1:00) our luggage was already there and our room was ready. Wonderful CM Josh checked us in, loaded up our bags and took us right to our room !
When we were planning the trip, Don had told me that he would be more than happy to help with any arrangements/ADRs, etc that we might need for our whole trip (including the nights at BCV). When he sent me the print out of our itinerary, it included the ADRs for those days, too, even though I had already made them myself. So if you like working with Don and Juanita (they were both GREAT to us, too!) just ask him if he would take care of all of your stay! Enjoy! We loved AKL CL and the Sunrise Safari was awesome!

I would call right back and talk to another CM to check. My understanding also is that Lodge is Sugarloaf, but definately call to confirm.

Lodge concierge is Sugar Loaf. As Hedwig said, call them back and see if you can get it straightened out.

Well, you can also tell if you have a room booked in the Main Building by the price. If you were quoted a higher price than SL, you know what you have.

You should definitely talk with KerryCM then. She is very knowledgable about the BWI.

Don at AKL is fantastic. In a few hours he had everything set up for me to perfection.

I had all but resigned myself to not being able to go to any concierge this trip due to $, but things have worked out that I could go for 4 nights of our 10 night trip. SOOOO I upgraded yesterday and now I'm trying to wrap my mind around what i can do. I had not been paying any attention to concierge stuff there because I didn't want to be bummed. But today I called the AKL concierge and got this famous Don I've been reading about, WHAT a NICE NICE NICE guy!!!!!!! Personable, chatty and EXACTLY what I love to hear in a concierge CM!!!! THAT is what I pay for, it's not the extra food and stuff..okay. I love that too , but it's stuff like this that makes me go over the moon! The few CMs we dealt with at the Poly (in 2003) fell so flat on my simple special surpise I had wanted of 3 dozen balloons in the room when we arrived and a big stuffed Stitch, that I was afraid to even hope or try to plan a surprise again. (how they fell short? They didn't have a thing in the room, and when I called to tell them they sent 6 balloons and a chocolate bar) But from I'm reading here they sure do seem to take their customers seriously and I'll try and think of a nice surprise for my family this time. DH already knows about the safari but I won't tell my son. in fact, he doesn't even know we're going to WDW. We're just going to wake him up early that morning and go to the airport.

Thanks for the help everyone. I didn't want to call up CRO only to sound like a misguided moron . Of course you were all right, and they had us booked for the incorrect room. I had the most fabulous CM change everything for me though and now we are officially booked for RPC!

Quick question- I sent off my form via email on the 19th. My 180 day was yesterday. I was wondering how long will it take to find out if I did get my times and my confirmation numbers? I didn't get any reply to sending my form, and when I called the next day to give a cc # (I prefered to give it over the phone than throught the form), they hadn't looked at the emails yet.

Obviously, I don't want to wait too long being December... any thoughts?

All the e-mails that have been sent to CR IPO have been answered within a few days. My 180 day mark was today. I called this afternoon and checked and everything was made. You can call the IPO office and ask for your confirmation numbers. They may send you an email in a few days with that information also.
