We are owners at HHI. Our family is planning on staying with some friends a few nights just off Hilton Head Island early in June 2002, but will not be staying at the resort. Does anyone know if we can use the beach house during the day? Do they have some sort of Day pass? I've scanned our membership information, but can't find a reference to this, but I may have missed it!

Thanks in advance for the info..

The facilities at all the resorts are for DVC members to use while staying at the resort. This prevents any problems with any members who happen to live near DVC's from making the resort their "club".

I agree with pam. Dvc members can not even use the resort unless they are staying at the resort. Imagine how many buyers there would be if Orlando folks could use it anytime by purchasing a 150 pt membership.

Perhaps your friends could at least take a tour if it is not sold out by then.

I think a member posted a while ago about being asked to leave the pool at BWV as he was staying somewhere else on cash. They would not accept the membership card. Said they wanted a DVC resort ID.

I asked the same questions awhile ago. We have a place in Palmetto Dunes (where are you) and I wanted to see if my grandchildren would participate in some of the fee-based activities at DVC. I called & ask, and they said no.

Also be advised. In order to enter the beach house, you must use a Room Key Card. There is a scanner at all the entrances.
