Add on incentives while on a DCL cruise?

I have yet to hear about anyone being taken off the rolls... I know they mentioned the 5 year rule, but I am unaware of it actually being enforced...

I just sailed the Dream and I was given the silver status gifts in my cabin. My last cruise was about 10 years ago.

I can’t remember where but I read that you will always keep silver status. It’s just the higher statuses that require a cruise within a certain period of time.
