WOOHOO! It isn't that much, but it's more than I expected given that we only insured one car for about 8 months until I bought a new (to me) car. Check your bank accounts! I love USAA.

Pardon my lack of enthusiasm, but my $4.67 (four dollars and sixty-seven cents) did not cause the same reaction you are having...

Yes, it is a great company.

Yes, I am happy to be a part of it.

Etc, etc, etc.

But, really? That is the lowest ever. My mom actually laughed. I will be interested to find out what my parents amount is. It's always more than ours (my dad is our sponsor, etc.)

Ours was over $50. That's more than it's been for the last couple years. I do remember the days of the $100plus checks.
Sorry yours wasn't more....

I am looking for a new car insurance company - I think I will check them out. I have been with my insurance company since 1998 and now all of a sudden my rates went way up as my car's get older

Our auto insurance account was credited ~$25 which is about 25% of our monthly payment. Every little bit helps.

I love USAA not because we get money back (which is great when it happens) but because the rates are competitive and the customer service cannot be beat. I never feel like I am bothering someone when I call for any reason. We have almost ALL our finanical lifes with them: auto/home ins, savings, checking, IRA, 529 and mortgage. I also had my mom's escrow account there when I was executor of her estate. Great company.

Thanks for the head's up! Ours hasn't posted yet? I'll keep checking but I'm grateful for anything we get back :)

Heather

Mine was in the $50s, which is quite nice for me...

Does any other insurance company do this sort of thing? ;-)

Just remember, in order to be a USAA member, you must be currently serving (or be honorably-discharged) from the U.S. Armed Forces, or be an immediate family member of a current USAA member.

There are other membership criteria, too - but those escape me at the moment...

We got $6, but we are paying $100 less a month since switching from Allstate for car insurance (3 cars and a college kid)!

I haven't gotten anything yet either. I think last year it got credited to my insurance bill but I don't see any changes to it online.

Ours was also credited to our insurance bill, so not as exciting, lol. We got a little over $70. But free money is always good! That'll pay for a couple of CS meals at WDW...10 more sleeps to go!

You can change it for next year so that it post to your checking acct if you want.
Thanks OP for reminding me. I checked and we got an extra $80. Every little bit counts!

Wow, I think I will check them out. I have been with Liberty Mutual for many years and our Homeowners went up a little too much for me this year. We have been getting stuff in the mail from them and I thought you had to be an Active Service member, DH is again as of yesterday, so I will give them a call when I'm off in 2 weeks.

Thanks for the info. I called them and they said our money would be credited towards our next bill. Every little bit helps!

Thanks for posting, OP. Ours was credited to our insurance bill, but since we have everything set up with autopay I wouldn't have even noticed, $40, not bad :thumbsup2
