USA Women's Bathing Suits-Oh My!

Oh, I think we're all pretty familiar with large Brazilian and Argentine youth tour groups in Orlando theme parks, but I confess that I didn't initially realize that anyone called them "The Fifteens."

I'm more used to them just being referred to as the Brazilian (or South American) tour groups.
Very common-that is what the Super Greeters call them, one of the Brazil Tour Companies even has "FIFTEENS" emblazoned on the Backpacks.

Some Guests don't like them but they bring in LOTS of money for The Mouse!

One Summer,as about a hundred 15s were streaming by,we joked with some Cast that The 15s were probably spending enough money at WDW that July to pay for Batuu!lol:)

There was an article in the Chicago Tribune about these

A bunch of us bought them for the summer - I think they are funny. 100 percent of the population has nipples, some men have bigger breasts than I do - but MINE have to stay covered?

Heck no - Free the Nipples!

I have two young boys and I have them wear water shirts with their swim shorts when we’re outside for sun protection. Last week, my five year old started swim lessons. I told him he didn’t have to wear the shirt because it was an indoor pool, but he wanted to because “everyone will see my belly.” I told him he could do whatever made him comfortable but secretly wondered if he would feel “overdressed” if we got to the pool and he was the only one in a shirt. But, when we got there, out of probably 60+ kids, only two bellies were on display in the whole place — two brothers who went shirtless. Literally every other kid was wearing a one piece or a water shirt at the indoor pool. I definitely feel old and out of touch. Lol.

ETA: Before anyone suggests it, this is not a place that offers advanced or competitive swim lessons where you would expect full-coverage suits. It’s all beginner and basic swim safety where any type of suit would be fine.
my boys won't swim without a shirt of some sort. At 1st they only requested one when we were on the boat becasue of their lifejackets rubbing. Now they don't want to be shirtless ever.

Very different than when I was growing up, but I also knew some guys who shied away from water activities because they weren’t comfortable being shirtless, so I’m glad it’s more acceptable to wear a shirt now.

I just want to say I saw the thread title and I'm glad I'm not the only person in the 21st century who calls them "bathing suits," for some reason. I concede I'm an old guy, but I'm not from the 1880s. Still, I call them "bathing suits" sometimes like I am.
