US/ IOA on memorial weekend, am i mad?

hi, we fly to florida for two weeks on may 19th, i have planned to get the wdw stuff out of the way before memorial day weekend, thinking that WDW would be busier on that weekend than US/IOA.
Am i wrong to think this?
Am i mad to consider this?
we have been to US/ IOA before after labor day weekend, US was busy but IOA was quiet.

my plan is US fri 27th, IOA mon 30th, with a return trip to bits of both on tue 31st as we have a 5 day pass.

need expert advice please?

Orlando schools get out on the 25th.
I'd visit the morning of the 24th to take advantage of kids still being in school.
With that many days, you will see everything. The key is driving up early in the morning, try to arrive the parking lot at 8am. When the park gets crowded around 1pm, leave and go back to your Disney hotel to rest, then visit a Disney park at night.
Are you renting a car, or using a limo service each time you drive up?
