US/IOA at Xmas Time

Can someone tell me if this is a good time to visit these 2 parks? We have visited in May and hopefully will be there for a day next Monday.

We are thinking about staying at Portofino for 2 nights for 12/26 and 12/27 so we will have FOTL access.

Is this a good time to go? With FOTL, should I be concerned with the crowd during that time at all?

We have 2 kids, 5 and 2 years old. Anything special during this time (I have heard about the Grinch and Macy's parade a little bit)?

You'll be going during a very busy time. Even with your FOTL, you may be subject to some wait, though it will be nowhere close to the 45-60 minute waits those w/o express have.

During this time, both Grinchmas AND the Macy's Parade will be going on. Check the showtimes insert for when the Grinchmas play is going on (it's a fun show) and for when the Macy's Parade is.
