Got an upsell for AKL VC today again and I again said no thanks then she said how about AKL concierge with a Savannah view? I said how much more and she said how about 210.00 less I took it . Hope I dont miss the WL to much but I sure am glad for the little bit of savings : )

There are 4 of us. Three adults (me, dh and 12yo dd) and one child. 10 day PH with water, and the DDP. The price does work out to be 40% off the room rack rate.

We were really wanting the Poly, so I may try to change tomorrow and cross my fingers I can keep the discount!

Thanks for the pixie dust, but no-go. I couldn't change my reservation today at all without losing the 40% discount. I may try again as it gets closer...

OCt 20 - 26 My DH didnt htink he could do the crowds again for free dinning so we are just paying for it and praying for a code to kiinda make up for it . If none come out then it wasnt ment for us to have a cheap price this year I guess.

Sometimes they offer them on room only. It is truly just luck if you get one.

Our dates are 8/9-8/19. I looked online at Disney and saw CS was full. So I called and asked for a quote for CS with tix and DDP. That's when the window popped up for the CM. The room portion ends up at 40% off at YC.

When was the last time anyone got one of these upsells? Kids and DH really want a water slide and we are currently staying at Pop.

Has this ever happened to anyone. I called Disney to book a WL room. The CM told me only rooms available courtyard- $320 or woods view-$290. I told him my husband wouldn't be happy with me if we spent that much on a room. Then he says hold on a cancellation popped up on my screen, hold on let me talk with guest services. A few seconds later he had a standard view room available for $265. He said someone canceled. I don't know if that's an upsell but maybe a downsell. Do you think they want you or push you to book a more expensive room and see if you would say yes to that than to say they have the lower price room?

It sounds more like he oversold the standard view rooms and upon checkin someone will get upgraded for no charge.

I am booked WL Dec. 7-9th... I called yesterday to get rates, and had the nice (patient!) girl check a couple mods, and then a deluxe, but no discounts popped up. Maybe too early? Oh well, I'll keep tryin!
