OK is it just me, or is WDW planning some sort of disease. It comes on full force all consuming, then goes into remission, then it comes back full force with PANIC!

I've planned this trip since January. JANUARY. That seems so long ago. I know every menu by heart, i know what i want to eat. I know where i want to stay, i know to bring baggies in my suitcase and shoe deviders for the bathroom door. I know about poncho's, i know where to sit for which fireworks. I know which parks to visit on what days and which to avoid. I know to take airborne before getting on the plane, i know which backpacks are ergonomically designed. The list is endless.

After i learn all of this (about 3 months ago) i stopped "learning" I just let it be. After all i was burned out and done right?

Now i'm a month out and OMG IM FREAKING OUT!!!! I feel like other than having my adr's i know nada. Its like writers block or something.

i've already gotten on a rollercoaster and i'm not even at the World yet!!!

I totally know what you mean! I have a little over 20 days until and i am freaking out! Do I have all i need? what about laundry? AHH i am right there with ya!

I know how you feel....I planned my trip at the end of July and I'm in that "slump" part right now... I'm just tired of waiting for the trip to come. But I know that right around Thanksgiving I will start freaking out again...wanting to change my ADR's, panicking about December Weather in FL, worrying about December Weather in CT causing problems with our flights, worrying about the Pop Warner Cheerleaders, worrying that I'll forget something, worrying that my DBF will get fired for taking 9 days off from work 2 weeks before Christmas......etc.

I, too, am curious about the shoe dividers and where to sit for fireworks...
thanks!

ok shoe dividers..you know the over the door hanging cloth shoe pockets (like 9-12 shoe holders) walmart for 5.00. There is limited room in the bathrooms for a family of 4, so someone said get this (lots do) to put stuff in. LIke everyone gets thier own "column" of shoe dividers. Shampoo's, makeup, underwear, nightgown, hair stuff. A quick place to put stuff other than digging in suitcases or having junk piled up all over the sink.

As for the baggies. Lots of people sort out outfits for thier kids and put in large baggies, socks, undies, shorts, shirt, hair barretts etc. Plus if you buy stuff that can break or that are liquid its great to have for that when you repack. Million uses.

Sitting for fireworks, lord everyone has something different. THere are a ton of threads on this. I dont have it on the top of my head.

There is a packing list that is really good!

Oh and bring the DOWNY FABRIC RELEASER...it will save you lots of ironing and time.

I have read this a lot, but personally I am not ironing on vacation. Sorry people, I will be the wrinkled one walking around the parks.

There is? WOuld anyone by any slim chance know where I can find that and would you be kind enough to post the link for me? Thanks

Ha! I still have 5 months, 4 days left to go. I have spreadsheets, folders, shopping lists checked off, menus printed, ADR's made...

I have nothing left to obsess about... SO I THOUGHT!

I started making shirts. My DH thinks I am nuts. He thinks we will look stupid all wearing matching shirts. I told him he is wrong. He told me that I will have to compromise. He will wear matching shirts 6 of the 12 days we are there. I said we will see. Christmas is coming... :rolleyes1

Happy planning. If you think of anything else to plan, let me know. I need a fix! :rotfl2:

Downy Fabric Releaser is a spray...you spray it on the clothes then gently stretch the clothes to straighten the wrinkles. No ironing needed!
:sunny:

I so know what you mean! I started planning a trip last January for last April. I read the guide books, typed notes into the computer, drew up rough itineraries, Must Do lists, made PSes (that's what Disneyland calls ADRs); and then DH wound up in the hospital 2 days before we were to leave, so we had to cancel.

I rescheduled for late September, but have just sort of been in a slump all summer. I need to be re-reading, recreating the itinerary and all that, but I just haven't been able to get motivated. Maybe once DS6 is back in school...

The down side. We have already made all of our plans, reservations, etc. and we still have over three months to go. :rolleyes1

I'm over a year away, and haven't really started planning yet.

But I really wish we were going sooner! It's going to be hard to wait for September 07 to roll around :confused3

I'm with you there. We are booked for the last weekend of Sept 2007. My husband has already banned me from talking to him about WDW. He is tired of hearing about the menus, my thought about staying at a different resort. I have a calendar already printed out with the countdown. I know that is just pitifull. :rolleyes2 I just cant help myself.

I too have started planning our November Disney Trip back in January. And have planned over and over... just when you think everything is in order... the airline changes flight times... which means calling the limo company to adjust pick-up times... and changing dinner ressies to another time...etc. And then Disney throws out an incredible deal to upgrade and save and you change resorts so you have to research everything there is to know about the new resort that you just switched to... it goes on and on... But at least I haven't made it to a calm.... now what to do state...
