OKW looks beautiful and what a lovely room I get the feeling that this resort is very laid back and peaceful

I know what you mean about the monorail. For us there was constant problems with it (but then it is nearly as old as WDW itself!) which wasn't fun. However, now that they have cut back on the monorail times to work on it, hopefully in the next year or two it will be running again like new

I have never been to OKW. I always love seeing pictures of the resorts I've never been to. It just makes me want to stay there even more though.

Kind of cool that you left AKL sad that you won't be able to sit on your balcony watching wildlife and shortly after you arrive at OKW, Mark found some wildlife to sit and watch.

Maybe you shouldn't have added "now I'm going to be walking away from you, so make sure you take plenty of pictures of my backside".

All of us husbands have that same look for those very, very, very rare occasions when we're about to leave and our wives have to go back because they forgot something.

Every time I price out a deluxe resort (like I'll ever be able to afford it ), I always seem to look at Old Key West. It looks so pretty and laid back. If only they had a bench and I might convince John that it'd be worth the cost.

The resort is beautiful and the room looks nice and roomy.

Great photos of OKW....we took the boat from there to DTD on our spring trip, looks really pretty, but so BIG!

Where have you all been my whole life??? I feel like I'm surrounded by CARDS fans here in OK! So happy to finally find some friends who are pulling for the Rangers!

Thanks, Stefy. It really was a beautiful resort.

I hope they fix whatever is ailing it because for the last three or four years we've been stuck on it anywhere from 10 - 30 minutes and more than once per trip.

Glenn, I think you are right...that is what I should have said to him. I give Mark that "same look" when he takes forever to exit the house, get in the car, start it, drive, etc., etc.

The rooms are a great size...and that was only a studio.
