Sorry I've been missing everyone. Work has been busy still, I've been sick for two days, Andy's girlfriend got back from a month in Italy yesterday and came over last night as she brought something for Mark and I, and we've been dealing with body shop/insurance company for them to start work on the smashed car. I'll do replies now and an update tonight!

Cross your arms, cross your legs and tighten up. You may not look graceful but you will get a fast ride.

I still get water up my nose if I don't time it right.

See, I laid down and crossed my arms, but I think I forgot to cross my legs. I hate when water goes up my nose.

Love your 1st day pics! Don't worry about the hair - I think we all have troubles with that humidity - mine goes totally flat to my head, unless I get a perm before I go. Then all bets are off!
Your Jan plans look great - I just have trouble imagining going at a time when there's a danger of frozen Iguanas dropping out of trees I need my pool time!

Tammie, I wish I could figure out a cure for that "humidity hair." Usually I throw it in a ponytail, but I got it cut shorter this go round and it didn't always stay in.

It will be my first "winter" in Florida. We will see how it goes.

these photos are great Kathy. Is the HM shot unique to halloween time? I just love how much you and mark enjoy disney.

I love the pictures. The Haunted Mansion one is awesome with how they added a little friend in there for you! I SO want to do this in December. Is this only around in October or is it an added feature like "tinkerbell in the hand" and such?

I don't know if they do it year round; I was under the impression it was a Halloween thing only.

I have returned!! As you already know of course I have been catching up on your TR during my lunch break today we have pesky work training which has left me little to no internet time

I have to tell you how much I just LOVED LOVED LOVED AKL!!! We had dinner at Jiko our last night of vacation and OMG I was just amazed how beautiful it was inside the lobby areas and from what we saw of animals in the dark (giraffes and a few others so cool!!) We both decided we would have a hard time leaving to go to the parks if we were staying there!!

Love your HM photopass pictures, those are so cute!! I also was laughing so hard about the banana story at CP and the picture was so funny!!

Shannon, it is good to have you back...although I'm sure you are missing Disney. Do let me know when you start your TR.

You really need to try to stay at AKL; and it will be hard to leave to go to the parks...trust me.

So when I last left you, we were leaving the MK and hopping on the monorail to go check in to Old Key West.

We got on the oranage monorail. And as seems to be typical with us, it STOPPED...for ten minutes. I don't know what it is with that monorail, but it just doesn't like us.

We go to the car, hopped in and drove over to OKW:

We pulled into the 30-minute parking for check-in, etc. I gave Mark the camera and told him to take pictures once again while I was checking in. Little did I know that he would be taking several pictures of my "not good side:"

If you cross your legs on the slide and tighen up the tush you won't get water where it doesn't belong either.

That is especially true for the big slides at the waterparks.

All checked in with wonderful CM's by 1 p.m., our room was ready and we were on our way. We were in Building 40:

This was a perfect location. We were right near Turtle Pond Bus Stop (a 30-second walk) and a two-minute walk to the Turtle Pond Pool.

We didn't have much of a view from our patio, but it wasn't a big deal to us because we weren't in the room much with Andy coming and hanging with the urchins:

After we unpacked, we wanted to go back to the Hospitaly House area to shop in the store and take a look at the main pool.

I yelled to Mark as he opened the door: "Say Hi to all of my DIS friends." So hi all from Mark:
