Hm, to answer your question ........ you might have joined him at the pool!
I love your photos, they bring back so many fond memories of AKL! Isn't it wonderful, to wake up and walk out on the balcony and see all those animals?
Mark's hat photos are awesome and you are modelling the hat I bought!
I needed something to keep my hair "moderately" in place while driving in the convertible and the hat just did the trick!
Can't wait for more
I'm really kicking myself for not buying it...it would be great for future trips, the zoo, etc.
Your pics of the AKV are so pretty! It just seems so quiet & peaceful. Loving that Mark is still modeling hats! He can match Reid with the pirate Mickey ears. I'm going to have to find some time to hop over & check out your dining review.
Thanks, Amanda. Boys and their pirates.
Awesome, lovely pictures of AKL/AKV. We have two nights/one day before our fd pkg. starts in March, if a super good code came out this is making me think we should book there instead of POR (before heading to CSR for 10 nights).
Love the blouse you wore that day! And Mark is looking good in those hats!
Hi, Amy. I think you should definitely skip POR and go to AKV if you get a good code...you will LOVE it.
I don't know what Mark will do if they don't keep making new hats.
Gosh! I can see why you have that big smile on your face Kathy...that place is so gorgeous. I really want to stay there at least 1 night in the future!
Jen, you need at least two nights, and even that isn't enough.
I love that Mark likes to try the hats on. I know somewhere deep inside my grumpy dh is a kid at heart and loves Disney (not quite as much as I do...but he does nonetheless) Yet...he would not be so inclined.
I love your animal print top. It is so cute on you! I think I commented on the top on your PTR, right?
And... this picture...
I had to do a double take. I thought someone was sitting on his lap.
All the other animal/savanna pic are amazing as is the ones of Jambo house. Has me wondering...
Maybe you should have him try one on on December and maybe he'll surprise you.
Yes, I think you did comment on my PTR about the shirt (it is very comfy too).
Don't you dare go changing your resort now. But I hope you do try it one time.
More gorgeous pictures! You both look so happy and I love the hat pics!
Thanks, sis. Mark and Todd are TWINS!
Aw, Kat, what wonderful updates! First off, I completely understand your weepiness when you entered Kidani. I felt the same when we entered the GF, it's so special! And wow, Kidani blew me away, your pictures are gorgeous. I love all the detail, love it!
All these hat pics are cracking me up! Mark is such a good sport! And why didn't you buy yours?? It was stylin' Kathy!
There is something very soothing and serene about watching animals, isn't there? I could sit on that deck area for hours and just soak it all in. And I'm happy to see your babies (the giraffes of course!) were out too.
Boma is ridiculously good. Seriously. Though I do prefer breakfast to dinner there, but that's just me.
Everything is pointing to a perfect trip for you guys thus far. Can't wait to read more!
Hi, Molly.

As I've said before, the pictures do not do it justice.
I really could kick myself in the A** for not buying it.
Yes, it is soothing and serene; and I could do it for hours.
I've never done dinner at Boma (Nicki told me not too

), but we love breakfast.
Love all the different hat pics.
I feel the same way about Disney Quest as you do Kathy. I spent one whole Mothers Day there with DH & boys. Once was enough.
Disney's way to make more money off parents -- Disney Quest for kids.
Kathy i am way behind - have 2 extra dogs at the house who make laptop surfing a real challenge--they are lap hogs! but i just had to sAy I LOVE this picture!
what a good start to the trip!
reading on now
awesome shots Kathy and what a beautiful bag from Tim and family. that"s nice

as i look at your pics i am seriously considering akl for our trip. is your room a 1 br or studio?
No worries, MaryEllen. Tim did good.
We had a one bedroom villa (so we had the bathroom off to the left as you entered and the washer dryer to the right; then you hit the kitchen and then the dining room/living room (with a television there); then you go through the other door to the HUGE bedroom and another door to MY bathroom.
