awesome shots Kathy and what a beautiful bag from Tim and family. that"s nice:wizard:;)

as i look at your pics i am seriously considering akl for our trip. is your room a 1 br or studio?

Wow - Score on the animals!!!!!!! I love the zebra!

Mark looks so cute in his Duffy hat! Come on - you mean he didn't buy it?????? Oh, and the fisherman's cap is pretty cute too!!!!!

I love you shirt. I remember when you posted in on FB. It's so cute and so perfect for the AK! Fun morning!

Hm, to answer your question ........ you might have joined him at the pool! ;)

I love your photos, they bring back so many fond memories of AKL! Isn't it wonderful, to wake up and walk out on the balcony and see all those animals?
Mark's hat photos are awesome and you are modelling the hat I bought! :rotfl2: I needed something to keep my hair "moderately" in place while driving in the convertible and the hat just did the trick!

Can't wait for more popcorn::

I'm really kicking myself for not buying it...it would be great for future trips, the zoo, etc.

Your pics of the AKV are so pretty! It just seems so quiet & peaceful. Loving that Mark is still modeling hats! He can match Reid with the pirate Mickey ears. I'm going to have to find some time to hop over & check out your dining review.

Thanks, Amanda. Boys and their pirates. ;)

Awesome, lovely pictures of AKL/AKV. We have two nights/one day before our fd pkg. starts in March, if a super good code came out this is making me think we should book there instead of POR (before heading to CSR for 10 nights).

Love the blouse you wore that day! And Mark is looking good in those hats!

Hi, Amy. I think you should definitely skip POR and go to AKV if you get a good code...you will LOVE it.

I don't know what Mark will do if they don't keep making new hats.

Gosh! I can see why you have that big smile on your face Kathy...that place is so gorgeous. I really want to stay there at least 1 night in the future!

Jen, you need at least two nights, and even that isn't enough.

I love that Mark likes to try the hats on. I know somewhere deep inside my grumpy dh is a kid at heart and loves Disney (not quite as much as I do...but he does nonetheless) Yet...he would not be so inclined. :sad2:

I love your animal print top. It is so cute on you! I think I commented on the top on your PTR, right?

And... this picture...

Day2Pictures051.jpg

I had to do a double take. I thought someone was sitting on his lap. :rotfl2:

All the other animal/savanna pic are amazing as is the ones of Jambo house. Has me wondering... :rolleyes1

Maybe you should have him try one on on December and maybe he'll surprise you.

Yes, I think you did comment on my PTR about the shirt (it is very comfy too).

Don't you dare go changing your resort now. But I hope you do try it one time.

More gorgeous pictures! You both look so happy and I love the hat pics!

Thanks, sis. Mark and Todd are TWINS!

Aw, Kat, what wonderful updates! First off, I completely understand your weepiness when you entered Kidani. I felt the same when we entered the GF, it's so special! And wow, Kidani blew me away, your pictures are gorgeous. I love all the detail, love it!

All these hat pics are cracking me up! Mark is such a good sport! And why didn't you buy yours?? It was stylin' Kathy!

There is something very soothing and serene about watching animals, isn't there? I could sit on that deck area for hours and just soak it all in. And I'm happy to see your babies (the giraffes of course!) were out too.

Boma is ridiculously good. Seriously. Though I do prefer breakfast to dinner there, but that's just me.

Everything is pointing to a perfect trip for you guys thus far. Can't wait to read more!:thumbsup2

Hi, Molly. :goodvibes As I've said before, the pictures do not do it justice.

I really could kick myself in the A** for not buying it. :headache:

Yes, it is soothing and serene; and I could do it for hours.

I've never done dinner at Boma (Nicki told me not too :rotfl2:), but we love breakfast.

Love all the different hat pics.:thumbsup2

I feel the same way about Disney Quest as you do Kathy. I spent one whole Mothers Day there with DH & boys. Once was enough.:)

Disney's way to make more money off parents -- Disney Quest for kids.

No worries, MaryEllen. Tim did good.

We had a one bedroom villa (so we had the bathroom off to the left as you entered and the washer dryer to the right; then you hit the kitchen and then the dining room/living room (with a television there); then you go through the other door to the HUGE bedroom and another door to MY bathroom.

First of all, I have to say that both of you look so wonderfully happy in these pictures. Its really nice to see. :goodvibes Very nice bag from Tim and Melody. So thoughtful! Love the top and the fun earrings you wore to your Boma breakfast. And lots of pictures of Mark in hats! :rotfl: Love it! Great updates.

I might just do that... we will see if I can get him to. Then i will post on my TR

I thought I was having daja vu when I thought "that is the cutest top"

No, no... I won't change. Pretty soon it won't even be an option (like in 10 days) But..the thought has crossed my mind since it would be a bit less to stay there with free dinning than what I currently have. Some day, some day I will stay there...

Hi

Finally up to date with your TR! I get so far behind during the week so I got up super early today with the intention of sitting on the DIS most of the morning. :surfweb:

Love your pics of all of the animals that you were able to see. :lovestruc

BOMA does make an awesome breakfast...just wish they'd have zebra domes too. :lmao: Bit early in the morning but just sayin'. :rolleyes1

I'm loving all of the hat pictures too. :rotfl2:

So glad that we had the chance to meet up today and OMG, was that shake awesome or what? I can't wait to go back and get another one.

It was so nice to be able to sit and talk to you and Mark. :flower3:

I can't wait to read about the rest of your trip.

What a nice gift from That's nice. Love the Katmark bag:thumbsup2

Your pictures are making me wish I was at AKL right now.

I love all of your AKL pictures, and great hat pics from DTD! I can't believe I forgot to go to the Lego store when I was there, I really wanted to see all the new displays!

I had no idea you were doing a dining review, I'll definitely be subbing! :thumbsup2 I love Boma, it's probably my favorite breakfast at WDW! And I really love the gift shop at AKL, it seems like they have a lot of things there that you can't find anywhere else!

Wow love the view from your balcony Kathy - what a way to start your morning! :thumbsup2

Great hat pictures and I'm going to guess that you did make it to the pool this time.

Another great KatMark TR... looking forward to reading about your whole trip!

Haha - another poster said it looked like someone was sitting on the lap of the man in the cart - it sure did! I had to look twice. :rotfl:

I'll be looking into your food reports, also. I sure enjoy all the pictures of you and Mark interjected into the other photos. It puts such a personal mark on your reports.

OK - so I have to ask. Does this mean CSR has been replaced in your heart of beloved home resorts? <tee hee> (our favorite)

Looking forward to reading more :surfweb:

It is great to see you posting Jordan. Kathy and I were talking about you just weeks ago in Moroco :) Is there a PTR in ur future??? I am still hoping for a Peepfest. I finally got on to PB but then it or the Dis crashed.....

Sorry for the hijack Ms Kathy

It's good to be back. :)

There may or may not be a PTR......:rolleyes1. If I were a betting man, I'd bet there might be one starting some time in January.

Nice double update.

Raglan Road......hmmmm.......(making another mental note for 2013)

Those pictures out the window of AKV are awesome. Didn't you find that it was so peaceful to sit and watch the animals. I think when I stayed there I was expecting it to be different, hard to explain..but when I sat and just watched the animals, it was SOOO peaceful.

I was gonna say that the blouse was nice as well...but I thought I would lose my man card.;)

Love your TR so far, KatMark.

My sister and I went just the two of us last year and stayed at Jambo (just a standard view room), and we LOVED AKL. Loved everything about it--the animals, the decor, the CMs, the fire pit, the story telling, the music, the gift shop.... (ohhh, the gift shop...)

It was soooooooo beautiful.

Finally all caught up and loving every second :)

Your room looked amazing, still can't get over the tiles in the bathroom. They are so awesome. Great animal viewing from the balcony too, its so nice and peaceful out there just watching them :)

Great pics from your meet with J&S, is a shame we never got to meet this day. Next time for sure :)

Looking forward to more popcorn::

Great pictures Kathy! I love you two trying on all the hats. And the shirt you were wearing was perfect. Can't wait to read about your adventures at the pool!

Isn't the Jambo Gift Shop great! I don't think there was a day that we were there that we didn't walk through it!

You really saw a lot of animals from your balcony... the only thing that dragged me away would have been the pool because it was so hot when we were there!

Great picture btw of you guys with Sophia and Joe!

thanks for sharing enjoying all your great photos

Hi, Sophia...glad to see you back. You know, we never got to Mara to try a Zebra Dome. I had one a couple of years ago (I wasn't crazy about it), but I really wanted Mark to try it.

Mark and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with you, and we look forward to the next visit together.

What a nice gift from That's nice. Love the Katmark bag:thumbsup2

You didn't miss much as the Snow White and 7 men were gone. I was really mad about it.

The gift shop at Jambo is quite unique.

Wow love the view from your balcony Kathy - what a way to start your morning! :thumbsup2

Great hat pictures and I'm going to guess that you did make it to the pool this time.

Thanks, Tanz. It was a great way to start the morning.

Hi, Lisa; thanks for joining in.

Thanks for the kind comments about our photos.

I can't answer about CSR...you'll have to wait until the Disney portion of the TR ends to find out. ;)
