Upgrade at All Star Resorts?

Is there such a thing as an upgrade at the All Star Resorts? I thought that all the rooms are basically the same? We can't afford a moderate hotel this trip, but were wondering if there are any extra perks we could try for at the ASResorts? TIA!

You could book a standard room and try to upgarde to a preferred view or location. That's about it though. personally I'd stay away from the "preferred locations" at the AS, they are generally close to the main pools and food court, thus have a LOT of traffic going past them at all hours of the day and night.
