Currently have 2 (1adult and 1 child) totally unused 6 day park hoppers. They were bought a few years back and I am considering a ticketless package to include dining but will only be there for 5 park days. Can I “downgrade” the 6 day park hoppers to 5 day base and pay the difference - the current 5 day base tickets are now more expensive than the 6 day PH when I purchased them.
Not really understanding why you would do this?? You have 6 day hoppers. Why not keep those with the ability to hop and not use one of the days? Why pay more to get less?

When were these purchased? If pre-2017 you can use them as-is.

If purchased more recently you will need current date-based tickets. You’ll have a credit for the original ticket and yes you can use that for any current ticket of equal or greater value (paying any additional). So yes you can use the credit towards 5-day base tickets.

Hi. I’m sure the answer is somewhere on these boards but haven’t been able to find it: I’ve got a 4 day park hopper for my upcoming December trip and an 8 day park hopper for a trip this spring. I’m wondering if it’d be more economical for me to upgrade to a Sorcerer’s Pass before the December trip? (Yes, I own DVC).

Assuming you haven't already purchased the 8day hopper, then yes. Definitely.

The cost of the Sorcerer Pass is $1099. The cost of a 4 day hopper in Dec is $756.45 and the price for an 8 day hopper in the spring is $885.69. You'll save over $500 if you go the AP route.

Couple of caveats:
1) Sorcerer Pass is blocked out from 12/21 - 1/1, so your Dec trip needs to be in the first 3 weeks of December or the Sorcerer Pass won't help you.

2) not knowing your exact dates, I've picked start dates that have the lowest per day cost. Therefore, you may actually save a bit more.

3) these prices do not include tax

Steve

Confirmed what I was thinking and thanks for the warning about blackout dates. I’d just miss the December ones, thankfully.
Many thanks!

So I have two questions about my annual pass (incredi-pass) which is not yet activated. Will be arriving November 6.

First-our last day is Saturday November 15. I want to end at Magic Kingdom. I can have a reservation for Hollywood Studios and go there first, then hop to MK, even without a MK reservation correct? Just a bit confused about the "you can enter MK without a reservation after 2 PM, but not on weekends."

On the app, my pass says "NOT VALID FOR PARK ENTRY. Show ID at ticket window to activate and save to wallet." My husband's does not say anything like that, in fact I was already able to add to his mobile wallet and it says to just proceed to park entry. Any idea why I have to go to the ticket window?

As long as you have a reservation for DHS then you can park hop wherever you like after tapping in.

For you AP you need to go to a ticket window or Guest relations to get it activated.

Hi all. Need some help for purchasing tickets for our guest. My family still has some non-expiring park hoppers from 2014. We have a guest for our December trip and I've priced out a 2 day park hopper (to match up with our tickets we plan to use). Question 1: Where is the best place to buy them? Still UnderCover Tourist or another other place? Question 2: Once I add their tickets to my MDE, do we then have to all make reservations. So confused on this issue. I know I have made park reservations in the past few years but in June I did not. Hesitant to call Disney because in 2022, I called about Genie Plus, CM told me to watch a YouTube video. Question 3: All my non expiring tickets says 2030 expiration and years ago they said that was just a date and to ignore. However, a few months ago I am sure they had a date of 2099 and now all back to 2030. Anyone have thoughts on that one? Thank you.:)

Hi all. Need some help for purchasing tickets for our guest.
1. There aren’t much, if any, discounts on 2-day tickets.
2. You’ll buy a date-based ticket for your guest. If you are using non-date-based tickets (such as old no-expire tickets) then anyone with those will need a theme park reservation. Your guest will not.
3. I have not heard of expiration dates changing on no-expire tickets. My thought is a glitch. I suggest you check while at WDW.

Thank you ~ and yes there seems to be no discount (not that I was expecting one for a two-day p/h). I knew it would be high. I guess I will purchase direct through Disney. My other tickets clearly say no-expiration. I did ask once years ago and was told the system could not go beyond 2030. Definitely something I need to ask again. 2030 seemed so far away back then.

Hi there, we are visiting in early December primarily to see Starlight thus just a one day ticket. I’ve had some health issues that just saps me of energy but I’d really like to also visit Animal Kingdom if I’m up to it. Problem is, I can’t really determine how I’ll be until I see how my MK day goes so don’t want to purchase a two day ticket just in case I can’t do two days. So I’m wondering if, at the end of our MK day, I figure I’d be ok to visit AK are we able to add a day to our ticket before leaving the park that day? I know we could just grab another single day ticket but I think it does save a little bit if we can make it a two day at that time🤷‍♀️ Thanks.

are we able to add a day to our ticket before leaving the park that day?
Yes, as long as you do it before the park closes on the date you use the 1-day ticket, you can upgrade to a 2-day. It is pretty close to the same price as a second 1-day ticket.

It appears to be only about a $5 difference for a MK + AK (mid-week) vs. 2 day ticket so if you're unable to do it, I don't believe it will be a major difference.
Huh, maybe I miscalculated. For the dates we’d be going I’d figured it was closer to a 20$ difference. I’ll look again. As a fellow Canuck I’m sure you’d agree every dollar counts with our crappy exchange😳🤣
