Maybe that's just what Disney wantsThis is frustrating. May be worth paying full price for an upgraded band to not have to deal with this.
Ha ha, I have the same feelingSeriously the amount of times I told myself I'm done checking the bands is a lot... and yet here I am checking again. The ones we wanted are there now, but when I choose them I get an error. What a fun game for me!
I am curious though, if you buy one full price, do you still get your name etched or printed onto it? I'm thinking not, but I could be wrong.

Well, today is the last day I can order. I somehow got 2 and paid for them and now plain ones are showing on my page![]()
I sincerely hope they fixed it for you. Last Wednesday I ordered upgraded bands and checked out, recieved a confirmation email and they shipped to me and arrived yestereday ALL GREY!!! I called to fix the issue and because the glitch caused the change not to charge me, all they could do was reset the option to order more. Now they no longer have the ones we originally ordered and yesterday’s options weren’t great! I plan to keep checking back periodically because there were different options when I checked at 4pm and again at 8pm. Best of luck, it’s good that you noticed them turn all grey before having to deal with opening boxes of all grey bands! Shock and disappointment were all I can describe feeling at that moment...Update: I went to MDE and hit the chat button. I spoke with a CM and explained that today was my last day to order upgraded bands and that I was able to get my daughter the mickey bday one and my son the sorcerer one. I explained that I got on at 6:55am and paid for them and got a conformation showing I paid. When I checked my MDE it was showing plain bands. She assured me that if I paid then those should be the ones coming. She sent a message over to IT and now the magic bands are reflected on my account. I am excited I got these two but sad because I wanted to order ones for me and my husband. I made a choice to check out while I could still get those two. I figured I might be able to go back in later and see if I could get the two of us bands. My account no longer has the edit button for magic bands so I think I am out of luck?
I feel the same way, don't offer it and then i can't get it! I have become obsessed. I check the site multiple times of day, it has become quite the game.I can't imagine trying to get 4. I have been trying to get 2 and I am having issues. It will have 3 of my mom choices but not the one of mine. I finally relented and decided on a backup but my mom choices were gone. Now they are all sold out. I know my trip is the first week of September and they are left at the resort, I don't want a plain band anymore. Not after you said I could upgrade. I am like a kid don't offer me something and take it back lol So even if they screw up I won't know until I get there.

We were in the same boat with running out of time to order after tons of checking. Long story short, we ordered the plain color ones then apparently the upgraded ones were restocked. After a lot of time on the phone with various numbers and talking to several “supervisors”, they said upon check-in at the resort we will receive a gift card ($15 per person) to purchase them there.Mine starts Aug 1 and shows I only have 2 days left to customize. UGH!

Ours starts Aug 1 as well. I don’t understand how anyone is actually ordering. I’ve sunk at least 4 hrs into attempting to order in the last few weeks.When does your vacation begin? Mine starts Aug 1 and shows I only have 2 days left to customize. UGH!
The number Disney displays on MDE saying you have XX number of days left, is only for guaranteed delivery by mail. I think you can actually order them up until like 5 or 6 days before arrival date and they will be waiting for you at the front desk of your hotel when you check in. You can call Disney to confirm. I think my order date was 6/7. I ended up ordering on 6/21 and I got them in the mail on 6/26. Our check in date is mid-July. Once the number count down goes away from your screen, it will still allow you to customize, up until the actual and final cut off date which is much closer to your check in date.
Was able to order 4 today after trying numerous times.Has anyone gotten anything other than an error lately? Every so often the list of bands changes for me. Sometimes I can actually select 4 before it errors, others I can’t even complete selection. Earlier today I made it all the way to the end of the payment screen only to get an error. Like are they serious with this? It’s 2019 not 2009![]()
