Updates,Pics!Adult only trip of a lifetime,the good, the bad, and the not so romantic

Great trip report so far! DH and I tried Tchoup Chop in September and really enjoyed the food too. I'm not a big fan of rum and didn't enjoy my drink so luckily no hangover for me LOL!

Thanks for the support, and yes I think they specialize in RUM at tchoup chop, but the food was devine!

Ahhhhh, yes, we were leaving the ABC Commissary, and I say again, "oh look the muppets are right over there can we go see the movie?" The trip nazi a.k.a. Tom, say no I want to grab a fastpass for Indiana Jones.

You want to grab a what???

Ok so he heads over there, but cant find the fast pass, so i say again " Muppets? Please?" No says the trip nazi, Beauty and the beast is going to start soon...... Soo off we go! But no stop we have time to use our fast passes for TOT, so we go there first. Another enjoyable ride, up, down, up, up, down, down, up, down, up, down, down. Then we rush over to Beauty and the beast. I must say I was excited to see this show, i love beauty and the beast! I cry during this performance so Im glad we are taking the time to see this show! Wanna see some pics? Of course you do....

Ever wonder why we cry at shows? Its not like its my life, I mean Tom may act like the beast but he has wayyyy lesss hair! LOL

Ok so after this show we head over to....

Yes ou guess it, Indiana Jones of course, the trip nazi, I mean Tom wanted to see this one! Soo off we go. Why is this one always more packed then Beauty and the Beast? I mean no drama, no romance, just fire and fighting!

Ok, ok, enough, sure the show was entertaining, but I certainly prefer the romance to the action... and so far on this trip I was getting neither! LOL

So we herd ourselves out of the theatre and I hear those magic words....

You wanna go see the muppets now! (come on readers you can hear the golden harps too, cant ya)

I need to go see them,
Im going to have a fit if I dont go see them!

Sooo I get to see my best muppet character in all her glory!

And of course I had to look for the key,

Which of course leads to a 10 minute conversation about the key, and the fact that I heard about it on the DIS.....

Then as soon as it started.......... its all over

Has anyone else seen this show lately? Has this show changed? Or is it just our imagination? Tom and I swear Gonzo used to get shot out of a rocket and into the back wall............. but this time....... No gonzo in rocket............ no gonzo in walll.................. the two of us leave very confused.

So we look at the clock, and it looks like CARS will be coming out soon, so we head down by the show Lights, Motor, Action! We decided to take some pics along the way

Apparently earlier Tom had seen a sign that he wanted, it said I-4....... Okayyyy so he buys the sign, and we walk around, and Im looking for the singing in the rain umbrella, but its not there, all thats there is a box over where it was! Hmmpphhhh I loved that umbrella.

We proceed to look around at some stores in the area, we sit in the sun for a while, move to a bench, look around the area some more, back to the store, by this point Tom is like do we HAVE to see them? I tell him of course! The kids would love to see their pics! So I look over Toms head and I see that a bag of bricks are about to fall on his head.... This in itself is hilarious! So of course we took pics

And finally after a few more minutes.... here they come!!

LOL I sat down and let Tom run after them, they were moving and I was hot, and well ladies and gents, he is skinny, he can run faster then me! Run Forresst ooopps I mean Tom run!

We proceeded down the street and look at the spot where Who Wants To Be A Millionaire used to be, and what do I see?

Sorcerer Mickey! I have never seen him, so of course we stand in line, and I start talking to a family behind us. The mother was worried she would have to buy the pictures, and she just wanted to use her own camera.... Sooo I decide to investigate, are you just starting your trip? How long will you be staying here? Do you normally take alot of pics? She must have thought I worked for Disney. I assured her I was just a crazy person, and didnt work for the company. It seems that it was her first day, she had 5 more days, and yes lots of pictures.... So of course I told her she was free to take her own pics, or she could let them take it, she could get the card and at the end of her trip she could have them all put on a disk for only 99 dollars!!! Go Me! Go ME! So I didnt stay to see what she did, but I was glad to know that I might have helped someone, the same way others on the DIS have helped me! Here is our pic!

We also see what Disney considered to be Kim Possible and Ron, we disagree, but I guess its hard to find people who look like cartoons!

Next up dinner, where did he plan on taking me for dinner, so far this day I have had to plead for the things I want... thats ok Tammy calm down, its his anniversary too, and he planned this trip for you! "this is my mantra during this trip" Stay tuned!

Gotta motor on.....

well none for me tonight, this cold, and ugghhh working mornings, is killin me I gotta get some sleep! BUT tomorrow I should be refreshed enough to finish day one in MGM and start day 2, maybe even finish it!

hi tammy-----great report!! we just returned 10/25 from our 15th anniversary trip( i was glad to see you wearing the anniversary button---i happened upon a couple with them on our last day there, then went right to guest services to get our own....) I'm planning to mount it to the inside of the cover of the new scrap book...surrounded by the marti g. beads from port orleans!! We left out of Philly and flew down with air tran----got 59$tickets down and 69$ tickets back home----both non-stop and early am to go and late pm to come back--------there are ways to get cheap flights, just something to consider instead of all the driving....i know i would not be happy doing that-----sometimes i feel 2 hrs on a plane is too long to get there!!!!! congrats on your anniversary!!!!!!!

Nope. I was working at MK in 1991 and got to see the first show when they were testing the effects. I can't say nothing has changed, but Gonzo never came out of the cannon. AFAIK, it is exactly the same as 15 years ago.
