Updates on annual passholder status?

Sorry if this is being discussed on another thread or if this should be posted elsewhere but I was just looking for any new information as to when or if the WDW annual passholder ticket will be available for purchase again? I've been out of the loop for a while and just looking for any updates on this? Thanks

There is no new information about sales of NEW annual passes. Existing passholders are able to renew their passes.

That isn’t 100% accurate. Former passholders whose passes expired after the parks shut down, or who canceled their passes after the parks shut down, are able to request to purchase NEW passes at the full purchase price - not technically a renewal.
