I know that up until now we haven't had a lot of reports of people testing positive onboard or being a close contact to someone who does and having to quarantine. But with the changing safety protocols that are coming out, I believe we will see an increase. I feel it's inevitable.

I guess I'm wondering if Disney will change quarantine guidelines or if they'll provide compensation should you be forced to quarantine. We are 4 weeks out from a 7 night cruise, so this is something weighing on my mind at the moment.

Right now, covid rates are extremely low. Hopefully they continue to monitor the numbers and adjust protocols as needed. We just sailed the 14-nt WBPC from March 4-18. There was not one single reservation that said "Go to Inspire consult room". They all said go to terminal. No talk at all onboard of anyone needing to quarantine.
With the new protocols, it doesn't say that masks are banned, just optional.
We saw guests and crew wearing their masks outside. Do what makes you feel comfortable.

What changing protocols are you referring to?

*edit* I see now

So much this! So many people seem to think "lifting the mask mandate" means "masks are banned". It absolutely does not (unless you're a weird "preacher" in Tennessee who has decreed that no masks are allowed in his services - pretty much from the very start of COVID). It just means that it is your choice to wear them or not.
