just finished booking my trip, now all i have to do is figure out what to spend the $300 gift card on

Oh boo... Does not apply to us cause we went the package buy 4 nights, get 3 for free, so it was going to cost me another $1,00 to change my reservation to get the $500 gift card...oh well...just keep looking to see if any other deals pop up before we leave. Thanks for the heads up on this.

I think the 4/3 is the better deal if that is what you got... at least it was better for us.

I called Disney Travel on my way to work this morning and modified my existing reservation using the new promo. Since I had no previous discounts/special offers, I was able to apply this newest code to my existing reservations. Now I have $500.00 in free spending money!

Now I just have to wait for my travel agent to set it up. Sometimes I would just prefer to do it myself. I hate waiting for other people.

Why do you use one then? WDW reservations are easy to do yourself and you can call as soon as an offer is out there. Rooms go quickly. We tried to get a standard room at the WL (there are rooms avail w/ no discount or this new offer) w/ the AP discount none on the first day! There also aren't any with the 40% pin or the GP offer.

We are a family of 6 & trying to get a discount of any kind this trip....have the 40% code, & now this $750 gift card deal but Disney keeps telling me that neither of these codes are applicable to my reservation. I have tried moving to different room levels and family arrangements. NO GO.
Has anyone else had luck applying the $750 to club level rooms ?

So I am arriving on 3/26 and staying 10 nights. My dates fall during the blackout but my arrival is before that. Do you think I"ll get the gift card? My TA (who is a Dreams agent) emailed me and said I was getting it but I haven't been able to verify I am given my dates. I can't believe she'd tell me if I wasn't but its a busy time and maybe she was distracted. I just dont' want to get my hopes up!

Does anybody know if your arrival date is the only date that needs to fall OUT of the blackout?

First its not avail on 2/14 in a value - so I was going to move up to a moderate since that date is not blacked out.

Now I hear you have to buy the 5 day pass. That is a deal breaker in my eyes.

So I am still stuck paying rack rates at Pop.

From what I understand the Photopass discount is automatic when you book through Disney. But make certain you are set up to receive email offers from Disney or they won't sent it. If you book through a TA you need to discuss it with them so they can make sure you get it.

I get discount tickets from work (I work with a firm that has a significant relationship w Disney). And I get 10 day no expire passes... So I only buy them once every other trip.

I have been an annual passholder in the past as well - but am not at the moment.

I have many many one day passes from all the discounts of late that require the purchase of one day passes.

Paying full price for ticets wipes out much (of not all) of the gift card value in my opinion.

I told her the code is on the ressie, but she doesn't trust it. I tried to ask the cm on chat, but I never got a response from them.
I will try again in a bit, but was just wondering if anyone has called in and booked with those dates using the promo code?

I don't see that being possible since you do not get the gift card until you arrive and dining has to be added to your ressie prior to arrival.

Yes, the girls last day of school is June 2nd and we are looking to arrive either the 2nd or 3rd and check out the 9th or 10th.

I know so many people have received pins so this probably doesn't feel as great, but for the "pinless", this is something to smile about!

For us, I think the GC deal will save us $150-$245 per room over our PIN code, depending on where we stay. We are getting two rooms, so that would be a savings of $300 to almost $500. We will then use the 20-30-40 percent off code to book our remaining days and add on to the 5-day tix. I think the PIN code is better for those staying in more expensive deluxe resorts, suites or higher-level rooms. We would just want a standard room at WL if staying deluxe or book two standard rooms, instead of a suite or cabin, at the values or mods.

I'm thinking about all the possibilities: Can you use the gift card to book another trip? And if you can, can you apply that gift card to a potential bounceback offer (if there is one in your room?) And for the photopass -- I understand you get a discount because you're staying on Disney property, but can you actually pay for the photopass with the gift card? Hmmmmm. So many possibilities.

I have no clue whats best.... the 4/3 deal with DDP is about the same price as without dining and $500 gift card.


DDP is about $900.00 for us so i would be out $400 in food from my math
