I got the same answer. The CM was very nice, and said that my code is correct for the giftcard. She said I wouldn't need to bring anything with me to get it, and that she was noting on the reservation that I called and she verified the gift card for me.
They are very nice but they insisted you don't need anything - however when I pushed and got the email it very specifically says:
" The Disney Gift Card is received at time of resort check-in at the front desk. Please bring your confirmation paper work with you."
I would call back and ensure you get the email just to make sure they don't try to tell you sorry no paperwork no gift card.
