She is terrible! The service is sub-standard, and she knows nothing about WDW. I wanted to book a room-only w/ AP discount at the start of our trip (before our package starts), she told me I had to do that myself. I had to tell her that there was no longer a AAA lounge in MK, as she was giving me a list of "perks". I could go on.

I contacted another agent, from another AAA office. Not only did she quote my package at a significant savings over what I have paid, she also gave me detailed info proving her Disney expertise.

Now the big question, what can I do? Are my hands tied since we are within 45 days?

UPDATE: Spoke to my agent's manager and she took care of everything. All of this was a result of a few very kind folks here in the Dis, and another knowledgable TA who was will to give me advice. THANK YOU all!

Sorry I can't help you for this trip, but I went to Karen in the Somerset, Ma AAA office and she is better than I expected. I went before you could even book packages for 2007, and she knew that, when she made my reservation, the CM told her it was a package, but my agent knew it was wrong. when the day finally came were you could book a package, she did it for me before I could even e-mail her asking to do it for me:thumbsup2

I did make all my ADR's on my own, so I am not sure how good she would be for that.

FYI- I was listening on the conversation of the people on the side of me, and I could tell that their agent didn't know as much as the one I had

Ask the second agent if you can transfer the reservation to their control and how to do it if it is possible. I just did this - transferred a reservation I made myself to the control of my usual TA so she can help me out with certain things - and it was just a matter of faxing her a letter, which she then faxed to WDW, with my info and signature and a blurb about how I was giving her control of the ressie. If it's possible, the TA will probably have a form letter she can fax or email to you.

I don't know for sure what can and can't be changed at this point, but just having an agent you're comfortable with would be worth it, imho.
