UPDATED.....DVC Watches! What number? Where are the 500+?

There are currently two watches being sold seperately which, I believe, were listed previously as a set. But, I'm verifying the numbers for us to keep track

I find it kind of strange that with all the people listing their numbers here, we have yet to see one over the 500 mark. It also appears that most of the stores are sold out of them. Where are the ones over 500? Perhaps there will be a second release of watches to the stores.

I've been wondering the same thing since we're not going down until later this month. I thought I read where someone mentioned some DVC shops were waiting on a new shipment.

When i ordered mine from Merchandising, she was able to see inventory of the resort gift shops and she also said additional shipments were scheduled for Sept and Oct. I wasnt sure how accurate that was or if the waitlists would consume those, so I went ahead and ordered.

Yay!! Got my watches today. Only took them 2 days and shipping was free. We got them from our dvc home HH. They still had some on Monday, don't know if that is still the case. Our watch numbers are: w #455 and m #451. Love the case!!!

I am adding to the list again. I recieved from Hilton Head today, Ladies # 287, and 459, and a Mens #447. My wife is keeping #459 for herself. If they continue to bring high dollars on EBAY, we may sell the other set. Sorry, but money is money!

I was sitting at work this morning with my arms crossed. Right arm over left arm. A few minutes later I noticed a small round soft plastic piece stuck to my right forearm. Couldn't figure out where it came from. Then it hit me! It was the plastic protective covering over the watch face.

I'd been wearing my watch for the last 5 days. I thought the face wasn't as clear as it should be. Sure enough. The DVC logo is now clearer.

So, all of you need to make sure you've removed your protective covering over the watch face - and a couple of pieces on the band as well. I saw those and removed them. But the one over the face fit so perfectly, I didn't notice it. Don't know how it stayed on so long. Plus I had taken my watch in to have some links removed. The little plastic piece survived all that.

Anyway, I feel better now

That's funny because I was a little dissapointed when I got mine, that it didn't have a clear cover over the face, only the back and the band. I couldn't see one at all on the face, and I didn't want to scratch at it, if there wasn't one on it. But, lo and behold, I found there is one, but like you said, it fits so perfect, it was hard to see it!!!

When we were at HH in June, I pre-ordered. They called on Monday to get my credit card information and I got it yesterday. Can't beat that!

Women's watch #322 and men's #491.

I ordered them by phone from Vero Beach last week. They did not charge sales tax but charged delivery of $14+ for the two combined.

Got a nice little thank you card also.

I have one men's and 1 womens watch for sell. I paid 284.00 for the pair. I think that shipping should be about 20.00 or so.
I figured I would place a post on here before I sent them back to disney. They are just not the style that we like. I was thinking I could change the band. The numbers are 271 and 291
