I was able to do this today. It took the person at the register and customer service both to be able to figure it out, they weren't aware of it. My sister's Cub wasn't aware of it, either. In case you have issues...you have to key in your Cub rewards number, then they need to scan the Disney GC, then they will get a prompt on their screen. They need to have a Cub GC handy, they activate that and the net charge is $100. I was able to do four transactions of $100 Disney GCs then their prompt stopped, so that is likely their limit per account.

I don't know about you but this sounds like fun! The entirety of this post is from Danny Deal Guru

All AutoCamp Properties Bookable Through Hilton
In February, Hilton announced an exclusive partnership with AutoCamp to give Hilton guests the chance to experience popular national parks from up close. The last month, the first property, AutoCamp Cape Cod, became available for booking through Hilton channels.

Now the two companies have announced that all eight properties are bookable through Hilton, which means that you can use points or Free Nights Rewards to book your stay. Pricing on these properties is above 60,000 points per night usually. But you can possibly find custom-designed Airstreams as a standard room award, which should be a good deal for those that are looking forward to try these new lodging options from Hilton.

AutoCamp Russian River

Surrounded by the soaring Sonoma redwoods, AutoCamp Russian River is ideally positioned between the Russian River and the charming nearby town of Guerneville, known for its outdoor recreation and wine. With 35 accommodation options to choose from, the Redwood Suites are ideal for those who want to take advantage of a private wood-fired hot tub. The property’s Clubhouse features an airy indoor-outdoor pavilion and AutoCamp’s signature communal fire pit.

Expected to open in fall 2024, AutoCamp Sequoia is steps away from the Kaweah River and only 15 minutes from the entrance to Sequoia National Park. Is it just because I’m needing DGC deals and paying closer attention or have the DGC deals been lacking lately?
I don’t think it’s just you. We decided on our July trip relatively recently (Southwest took forever to include summer in any sales) and I’m realizing how important time is to getting good deals.

Some of my favorite methods have really dried up. I used to get Chase offers for shopDisney on several cards multiple times in a six month period. I’ve had one CVS offer and nothing for Office Depot and Best Buy, the latter of which used to be a good source of discount gift cards before it got walled behind their paid membership.

I’ve found 3% to be about the max for mass purchases (I consider Red Card/credit card 5%category bonus only 3% since I can get 2% off any purchase without gift card)

It feels like the only way to get a consistent discount is with Kroger stores, but we don’t have any.

Thank you so much for this, very helpful indeed! I wonder if you'll be able to do 4 more transactions when the new ad starts on 6/09/24.

Oh, I've added your info to Post #1 & Post #2. Thanks again!

Some of my favorite methods have really dried up. I used to get Chase offers for shopDisney on several cards multiple times in a six month period and would have a 50% success rate on getting Rakuten to track a gift card purchase at 10% back. What I really miss was Raise used to have regular sales for 5% or more off all gift cards, and you could use a cash back portal for 5% or more as well. I know I paid for one trip with 15% discount based on one transaction.
Yes to all of this. Fortunately we can get the Kroger deals but we can only get gas so many times each month so the savings can be limited by that.

I corrected my post, I could only do four transactions.

I am not sure if it will work again after 6/9, but the customer service person said she that that the limit is tied to your Cub Rewards Account (and you have to key that in to get the Cub card).

I don’t live by Kroger’s (NJ gal here) but I have a plug in hybrid, so I can go for like 3 or 4 months without needing to refill my tank, I wish there were more “discounts” offering straight cash back for my. Credit card, since the Best Buy one capped out for me about 3 days in and I was never allowed to buy another set of gift cards. I was able to get 2700 total which is nice, but nowhere near the 5400 I thought I was going to be able to buy.

The last CVS offer I got on my Chase Visa (through United) hasn’t even tracked. I don’t know if it’s worth calling over a 42 dollar purchase with a cap of 5 dollars back.

Even so, I've posted several offers that were extended into the next sale period and others were able to buy more.
It's worth a try.
