Updated Disney Gift Card Deals and More

My target had 10 $50 cards, all others were empty. I asked a team member to check stock and she said her inventory showed “negative” on hand..? And that they wouldn’t be getting any soon to my location. She confirmed $1000 max on gift cards per day.
The gift cards are vendor inventory so the Target system doesn't usually track replenishment. Most likely why they have a negative amount, it tracks what's being sold but not what's stocked; also probably why they don't have an estimated delivery date. (I've been shown products with -927 on hand and such ) So cards could show up and be restocked tomorrow or weeks from now. Since it's vendor inventory it's mostly up to the vendor to keep their stock supplied. But if they didn't anticipate a run on a brand it could be a little while before the orders catch up for that brand.

I'm wondering if stores set their own limits.
Remember I called Target Circle Customer Service and requested a Specialist who broke things down; online and in-store. She told me in-store was $1,300 and that's what I posted. So far there have been two peeps posting their store limit is $1,000 at a register with an additional $1,000 at CS as well as a $500 limit. I thought the limit would be set the same like hardcoded at all Target locations.
I think it's best to change the DP to: $500 - $1000 and possibly more at CS.

Another one where all my gc's shipped. I also ordered some target gift cards as they were 15% off too.

So jealous of those 15% off codes.

RE- tripadvisor deal. We have APs for WDW so we don't need those, but we are headed to DL next year... I am only seeing 3 day tickets for next summer on tripadvisor and we need 4/5. Anyone seeing a different option? I assume I can't buy the ones offered for this year and then apply it to next year's dates because the pricing is different.

I need World tickets and they only have 3/5/7 days so they don’t have all the choices you can get elsewhere.

There is actually a unique code specifically for the 20% off at TripAdvisor offer.

First, you have to go to the Target Circle Partners page (while logged into your Target Circle account, of course):
https://www.target.com/circle/partners

Click TripAdvisor on the bottom.
Choose "Redeem Now."
After this, they will send a unique code to your email. You will then have to apply the code to you cart during checkout on TripAdvisor.

Maybe there's a more direct way, but I couldn't see this offer anywhere else.

Yes, I know, I was prodding. I suggested @shystalips post a link here due to it not getting any traction. I offered. I'm more than happy to highlight any thread that will save you money and this is a fantastic offer on park tickets.

I made a separate thread about the target circle tripadvisor things to do 20% off code. I haven't checked out all of the way because i'm not going to DW, but it seems to be applying the discount for me. 7 day base tickets for 4 $2,561.92. Looks like a good deal, Am I missing something? I don't know people but this looks pretty killer to me!. Stack with CB sites and paypal 5% back this quarter on chase freedom. Don't know why this is not getting any traction?????????

Hi there! I've been lurking here for quite awhile but wanted to share something if, like me, you got a sorta-lame Drive Up offer as your Target Circle Bonus this week :drive:

Here's my experience with "Make 1 qualifying purchase of $25 or more in the Target App using Drive Up and earn a $10 reward in Target Circle earnings."
  • I checked out online with three items totaling about $60 charged to my Red Card. One of the items turned out to be out of stock in the store, even though it was showing as in stock at my store on the site. Target flagged this after I placed my order and emailed me with options for still getting that item, including go to another store or get it shipped instead. I selected free shipping to my house.
  • Apparently, having one of the three items being out of stock and getting it shipped instead somehow triggered the Drive Up offer reward and I received the $10, even though I haven't picked up the remaining 2 from the store and obviously haven't received the one via shipping yet.
  • One key part might be that the item that was out of stock/will ship instead totalled $29.99, so perhaps it being more that the $25 and requiring shipping is what triggered the bonus earnings crediting to my account.
So, if you can identify a popular item with the potential to actually be out of stock in store and it's more than the required spend, perhaps you won't have to do the Drive Up after all and still get the bonus earnings. Not complicated at all, right?

Finally, thanks so much to this board. I've learned a lot here and appreciate all the posts and data!

Is there a way to attempt to purchase DGCs in Target store, and see if the 15% works before completing the purchase? As a way to cancel if full price? Or can they be returned?
Yes, you'll see if the 15% has been applied prior to hitting the purchase button. Though I'm thinking Target has corrected the glitch as it's been reported but, I'd still try. Obviously each store is doing their own thing.

Well, last night I received the shipping notice from Target, and the UPS app this morning says my DGCs will arrive Thursday. So Target honored the order I placed Sunday evening with the 15% off entire purchase, plus the 5% RC discount, and I also got a $25 bonus for spending $110+. Thank you all!

Ahhh. Hahaha. I guess you were too subtle for me when I was looking at the boards at 4AM this morning when I was having trouble getting back to sleep.

As always, Thanks!

My husband's target circle account had the 20% off total purchase offer (my account had a stupid save $5 on your pick up order) and we purchased $2,000 worth of (physical) gift cards. Only spend $1520! Received a UPS confirmation that the GCs will be delivered this Thursday. Woohoo!
