Updated Disney Gift Card Deals and More

So - I'm feeling super anxious. I had not used my Sam's Club gift cards (the two 500 ones from Black Friday). I just tried to use it - it says 0 balance. Check balance - says 0 balance (but no history of being spent). Did anyone have a similar problem (my tickets are also missing from MDE, which is scary - but my park reservations are still up)? I'm very much freaking out

I got six and they were all good.... used four to pay off a cruise and transferred two to a physical card.

Sound be able to contact SAM's. Now DME, wait a day and try again... it's buggy at times. If not add the tickets back.

Was actually six... there pairs in three orders.

I tried a second order and it worked, then tried a third that did not. I had gotten an account for my wife through Groupon for $15... so switched to that and did a third pair, but they were sold out before I could buy a fourth pair... about 8 mins after they went on sale. Should have had her doing it the same time I was.

Now I'm waiting to see how this RMN/Paypal on shopDisney works out....

Yeah, it was definitely something glitchy but all is fine now. WHEW. Tomorrow was my 30 day mark, though - so I got super anxious.

I had my resort reservation fall off on my arrival day... but seems to be common with Swan/Dolphin. But then that was a bad week for trying to use Gift Cards at WDW....

It took me TWO calls to ShopDisney but they finally pushed my payment through and my eGift Cards were sent to me. I have $48 at RMN pending.

In the beginning of November, I had a $15 using Amex points discount on Amazon and used it to buy $100 worth of Happy gift cards for $85. I had the gift cards shipped to the amazon locker and the next day I clicked the tracking and it said the package was delivered to the locker but I never received the locker pickup code. So I called up Amazon customer service and the lady said it was strange that they never sent the pickup code but she was able to see the pickup code on her end and she gave me the code. I picked up the gift cards and used them around 2 weeks after that. Well today, I got an email from Amazon that since I never picked up the item from the locker they are refunding the money and they refunded the $85 back to my account. So I got $100 in happy cards for free!

Amazon likes to give away things for free. I had an issue with them a few years ago when I intercepted an attempted hack to a gift card on my account. I had purchased over $100 worth of household stuff (toilet paper, paper towel, etc) on a gift card. In the middle of the night, I got an alert to my phone saying my refund had been processed. I immediately knew something was wrong so I logged in and changed my password. Long story short, a scammer managed to access my account, “returned” the items purchased with the gift card (said “not received”) and then presumably intended to steal the now-reloaded gift card. I checked my email and found that my email account had also been hacked and the confirmation emails from Amazon were being automatically forwarded to a gmail address! I fixed that immediately and locked down my email address too. Luckily, I had the text alerts set so that woke me up and I got those before the emails. I tried REPEATEDLY to call Amazon and explain to them what happened because I now had a balance on my gift card of over $100 for “returned”/“item not received” merchandise that was fraudulently claimed on my account. It wasn’t my money and I was trying to give it back. I spent hours on the phone over a period of 6 months trying g to get a supervisor, loss prevention or fraud department manager to contact me. I called and emailed and they just could not figure out what happened. They insisted that it must have been a mistake. I still kept trying to correct it, but NOBODY would take the money back….so I finally gave up and spent it.
