I know not everyone has luck with Dosh and OD. I can’t remember if it was a poster here or on the credit card thread, but someone wasn’t getting Dosh cash back to post with OD - BUT, they were only buying GCs and nothing else. Like I said, I always throw in a small item. Not sure if that makes a difference or not but I’ve been sticking with what works! 😀

I can confirm Dosh tracked for my VGC and Amazon GC purchases. I just deposited the money into my bank account. I didn’t purchase anything other than the gift cards in the transactions.

The Sam’s cash back does stay pending for a full 90 days, but so far (knock on wood!) it’s all credited at the 90 day mark. I’ve got cash back pending from 2/16 - I’ll try to remember to report back here if/when it gets credited in mid-May.

Edited to add: my OD purchases were all in-store, and my Sams purchases were all online. Dosh credited my Sams purchases even though I didn’t even click through Dosh!

I'm one where my mileage is varying. No cashback from dosh for giftcards at od/om for the last two months. Before that I had no issue. But I strictly buy gift cards--no filler item.
 
I took Watson to the vet to finish up his vaccinations. It's all good. And she asked what preparations are you taking with the pups when you return to work. I actually mentioned this topic to DH about two weeks ago. I'm retired and I'm not going back to volunteering anytime soon. The relief on her face read like a book. You must be dealing with some issues, huh? So many she said do yourself a favor and look up play dates and boarding policies. Things have changed, not to mention, they book up!

In our area, dogs (sorry, that's all we have so I'm just going there), must be neutered, fully vaccinated and play well with others including dogs and people. Several places will give you one free play date as a trial. If your dog doesn't qualify, they do not get in until you get them properly trained. All of which I pretty much assumed. And she said, any form of aggression towards others and while feeding, is an issue.

Before you go on vacation, check out your local pet hotel. Read reviews and ask neighbors for referrals now. Sign up for a play date and find out if there's anything you need to work on before you go. Even training classes are booking up. pluto:

What happens to the dogs that don't play well with other dogs there? Not trying to start anything I promise. It's just that I have one dog who is amazing with people and my kids and the dogs in our house. But she was attacked while on a walk by my neighbor's unleashed "free range" dog. So now she's very reactionary to any other dogs and honestly, I don't blame her. We've worked with her and with a behavioral trainer from the rescue she came from and while she is better, she's still not what I'd consider dog friendly. I'm very glad that our boarder is great with her and has her dog area with different fenced off sections in the yard so dogs from different families can be out at the same time, but can't get to each other. Do you mean dogs that can't play well with others just can't be boarded anywhere around there?

You're good, no worries. I was told, you need to have issues resolved before they can be boarded, but that's here. There are three places we are considering based off reviews, neighbors and friends.
We've secured appointments with them for play dates for Sherlock but not Watson. I also want to check them out just out of curiosity, if I don't like what I see, my pups are not going there.
For us, this is the first time in 20+ years since we've owned a dog, now two and at the same time.
Call and check your locations to find out what their policies are. If you're not getting enough from your trainer, maybe find another? Someone who specializes and offers one on one training.
 
Oh, all three have the same policy, because we have two dogs - they get boarded together. Watson has been showing signs of aggression when feeding. I'm on top of that nonsense and it's important that all members of the family are doing the exact same thing.
Week One: Hand feeding with praise. - Done!
Week Two: Fist in a bowl, praise and petting.
Again, we all take turns. We even walk by and pet him while he's eating.

We’ve come a long way with training. We can take her for walks and pass other dogs with out issues but it still requires her to focus on me and it’s awesome she can do that. I don’t know that she’ll ever get to the point I’d let her be off leash around other dogs. Mostly bc she’s a pit bull and if she would react I’m afraid shed be blamed even if it wasn’t her fault.

You must have bad luck, my purchase of $400 in Visa gift cards (I paid $398.90 because they had $15 off) on 4/16 posted at Dosh for $7.98 cash back. On 3/27 I bought a $100 Happy Gift Card at OD and it posted at Dosh for $2 cash back.
