I had that one. I purchased the card on Nov 27 and had my credit on Dec 2! There's no reason you shouldn't get your credit as long as you activated the offer prior to making the purchase.

I saw the post regarding Happy Cards turning into Happy Swap cards. I think I may still have an original Happy card or two that I didn't get to swap out at BBB or HD before the shut down last spring. If I can dig them up, does anyone know if they still work for gift cards?

Just to clarify, not all Happy Brand gift cards are SWAP.
Blackhawk Network offers both Regular and SWAP. They are sold pretty much everywhere, you just need to be careful which one you buy.

I remember reading your posts when you had trouble with them. I had bought a bunch from BJs too and luckily didn’t have any trouble. But I didn’t renew my online membership and still have DGC left that I haven’t used since we have canceled 2 trips. So I decided not to buy Any this year from them.

Yep and it was a nightmare to get the one they didn't activate activated but they did finally do it. Took a ton of calls and every person told me something different. I hope they get it fixed for you right away.

So far it's been a call and an email response from BJ's that told me I have to contact Disney Gift Card because it's a 3rd party gift card. When I called Disney Gift Card their first response was that the cards were supposed to be activated upon purchase (well duh!) I told her that BJ's told me I needed to contact Disney Gift Card. She said, well in that case, please email guest.service@disneygiftcard.com I received a response within 2 hours asking for the first 12 digits only of each card. I responded 6 hours ago, we will see what happens next. At least they asked for more information so hopefully that's a good sign.

There's nothing stating you will not get cb on the purchase of gc. It's the same language as Sam's Club and mine is tracking.

Retailmenot is 5% cash back however their terms state:
Expires: Available through 12/31/2020 or while inventory lasts

Just remember, once you get the GC and you use either site on purchases then return an item, you may see your entire purchase as "Ineligible" as seen from RMN.



This has been my biggest gripe and is not so easily remedied. To avoid this mess, purchase what items you know and make a separate purchase for the unknown.

Lastly, the language on cb sites can and have changed, so be sure to read them.

I bought Amazon gift cards with a happy card at BBB around 3 weeks ago with no problem. That being said, you may want to wait a few days and see if BBB will be offering any rebates for buying 3rd party gift cards. Last year, they ran the gift card rebate from 12/14 - 12/24 but there has been no word so far this year.

Unfortunately, I don't remember who originally posted the news & link here but I'm grateful.
I consolidated my stash of DGC, took a few screenshots and deleted them as well. It took time updating my spreadsheet and labeling the cards. I think it was a week later? reports came in that the DGC site was acting weird for a few days but things did go back to normal.

I took a screen shot of my account showing the balances, verified that I had the correct physical cards, and then deleted the cards from the site.

As long as you still have the physical cards, you're fine. When they say that the are "gone", they just mean that it won't be on the current Disney GiftCard site anymore. If you don't, might be a good idea to get a few new ones/find a few old cards that you have lying around and just transfer them over.
