Not sure if it's just bad timing looking for Apple Gift Cards.
Here's a list of offers that were available from one of my favorite sites: GCG
Though that's not going to help you now but you can sign up to be alerted to new offers.

Personally, I would cash out and deposit the funds in my checking account, that way I know it's there in case a great deal comes along. If the funds are here and there it might take a day or two to process by then the offer could be sold out.

I would also check what offers are on my credit cards. American Express has a few with Best Buy. You could buy Apple Gift cards, plus you'll earn reward certificates, having both will help to buy the Apple watch. Best Buy also price matches.

I would also create an account at SlickDeals and set an alert for Apple Gift Cards and Apple Watch via your cell. It's a great site to finding the lowest prices.

Hope this helps. If anyone has anything to add or correct, the pages are yours!

The guy asks what are you buying the gift card for and I told him to pay a FIOS bill and the guy insisted the gift cards they sold could only be used to pay wireless bills. I tried telling him I had bought the gift cards at other Verizon corporate stores and never had a problem but the guy was insistent. I didn't want to fight with the guy so I just left.

Next I stopped at the Office Depot to take part of the $15 off $300 in Visa gift cards that they had (last week). I come up to the cashier and give her 2 of the $200 visa gift cards. She goes over to the manager and comes back and says the manager said she can only sell me one card. I told her but there is a sale if you buy 2 of them, how can you limit me to 1 ? That makes no sense? So she went back to the manager who grudgingly gave her the okay to let me buy 2.

Below are the 2 different types of gift cards that Verizon sells. The white one is the one you find at supermarkets and says "use for all your prepaid services." This can only be used for wireless prepaid and nothing else. Notice the back of it has only one number which is located under a scratch off (in the picture blow it is already scratched off.)

The black gift card (it also comes in gray) is the one you can use for fios. It is only sold on the Verizon website at link or in Verizon corporate stores. Corporate stores are the ones listed in the Verizon store locator list on the Verizon website with an * next to them. Notice the fios gift cards have 2 numbers on the back of the card: the gift card number shown under the barcode and also a pin number which is under the scratch off.

An important note on buying the gift cards from the Verizon Website: I HIGHLY SUGGEST NOT TO DO IT. There are hundreds of complaints on the Verizon forums that they send the cards unactivated and the number on the back of the gift card does not have a live person. I myself experienced this issue and I had to spend a lot of time before they finally fixed it. A TV Station in Kansas even did an investigation on the issue - you can see their report on this link.

A last note - if buying on the Verizon website (which I suggest not to do) you can buy in denominations of $25, $50, $75, or $100. In a corporate store you can buy for any amount you want - however, if you buy an amount other than the 4 standard ones, they charge a little extra. When I bought an $80 gift card they charged me $80.05. However, when I bought a $100 gift card in store, they just charged me $100.
