Gail and Joe, that is so sweet . But seeing that there is a bit of a shortage I just talked it over with the better half and I think we are going to bring a tree with us. We are staying at BCV for 4 nights and then 4 nights at VWL and then 4 nights on the cruise and we were lamenting the fact that we would not have a tree in our cabin for Christmas day. That way we can have a tree for the whole Christmas season! But thank you all for your willingness to share. Muushka

please add to instructions that the original SENDER should put a label on the front of the box with ALL NAMES FOR PASSERS ON LIST and THEIR DATES. Last year, I almost didn't get my tree during our stay because it took 2 DAYS of our 5 day trip to work with the front desk to determine that the passer before me never picked up the tree so her name was on the box not mine! They almost didn't give the box to me because my name wasn't on it and it was MY tree. Luckily, with persuasion, they opened the box and found the box label with my name on it in addition to the contents I described to them.

Thanks, WDWstar. I think based on my experience last year with it taking 2 days of our trip to locate the tree, I will send my own tree for myself. Thanks though.

Why can't Jimmac have the tree from 12/23/05 until12/25/2005. That would be for three nights. I am sending the tree and will be in on the 26th and will want it then but they could have it before then

Just bumping this back up to get my above question answered. I appear to be the last person with a tree and am worried about getting it back to it's owner (I can't take it home and mail it from there as I am flying back to England.)

I hope we get more people to share the 2d tree at the BCV's. I am a little worried that the tree will be stored too long between Dec 3 and Dec 23d.

I presume that the Beach Club is ok with this? I don't want them mad at me because this is a big hassle for them.

Any thoughts?

Danauk...I know the Dolphin has a mail center because DH has used it but I don't know the price structure. It may be more expensive. Maybe the Beach Club has a mail center? Anyone know?

Sorry everyone, we just got back home and back to work, i will update the list and answer everyones questions this week. Thanks for all the posts

If you are the last family on the list and have to mail the trees back it would be cheaper to take it to a post office outside of disney if you have your own transportation, i will look for a fedex or a post office for you.

There will be a address label printed out with the original owners name and address inside the box with tape, so all you have to do is tape up the box and tape the label on the box.

There should also be an envelope with donations to help with shipping cost.

Its Sept. and i will provide more info by the end of this month, i will also be asking around then for your full name ( the name that your ressies is under) and i will forward this info and your dates to the memberthat is donating the tree, then a list can be made up for the outside of the tree box.

once again i ask that the trees be picked up and dropped off at the front desk

by oct. if there are any dates open and you would like me to add your name to the list because you are moving to another dvc resort please post

My family and friends decided to take some of our own decorations from home as we really wanted a tree for christmas eve and christmas day when we will be relaxing around the resort. So could I please be taken off the list. I hope this doesn't cause any problems.
