UPDATE on my Stepmom....

This is from my dad's email to friends and family...

Here's the latest: Its not all good, but not all bad... The doctor at Duke said that the right breast will have to be removed but they will do a PET Scan of her body and specifically, an additional MRI of her left breast to determine if it also should be removed. These tests will be performed next week. Hopefully, surgery will occur before the end of January.
The doctor also indicated that Jackie's condition while it is not cureable, it is treatable.
Please continue to keep her in your prayers and thank all of you for your wonderful support. Earl
