As you know our friend has cancer, and well, the prognosis isn't good.

He went and got a second opinion at a hospital in NY, and the treatment options they gave him were only 6 months.

The family is going to Baltimore soon to another hospital to see his treatment options.

Right now, he is having very painful days, but he does not want to spend his time doped up on painkillers when his wife/kids need him. So he is just bearing it.. and we pray for pain free days for him. He can feel his tumors which were shrunk.. getting larger... so he knows its near.

Jeff (my DH) and his friendship is getting stronger. They are "prayer partners"... and they are getting together to pray, talk about struggles, and help each other out. We are so happy to near them, and to be just spiritually tied in with them.

Angels wife (Linda) is turning 31 soon, in the next three weeks.
He will make it he says. Linda could use some prayers, and she is realizing life will be without him. She has been together with him since she was 15.

Sad the first time you shared with us, Cindy, and continued so. :( It is comforting, I am sure, for Angel and Linda to have friends and support in folks like you and Jeff. So important indeed.

My prayers and very best wishes continue for Angel, his family and all who surround them in love. {{Hugs}}

My thoughts and prayers are with them and their family and friends. :(

I'm sorry to hear about your friend's illness. Your DH & you sound like very good friends.

Cindy, such a sad update :( My heart goes out to Angel, Linda & their family. I will certainly keep them and all who love them in my thoughts and prayers. They sound so blessed to have you two as friends. {{hugs}} to you all.

This is such sad news. I just said a prayer asking that Angel be relieved of his pain so that he can make happy memories with his children during his last days.

I will keep his wife in my prayers that she find the strength to deal with the loss of her husband, when it happens.

You are a good friend to care so much. Bless you.
