while she s till tires very easily, she is walking and able to move about much better. trips to the store are very tiring, today she got very frustrated trying to negotiate wal mart in the scooter chair, her blood pressure reading are staying reasonable for the most part, averaging 125/75, which is a far cry better than the 168/106 at drs office friday. the diet changing is going ok so far, bought lots of low fat alternatives over hte last few days, so far so good. shes enjoyed the meals and hasnt tryed to cheat that i know of yet. stopping smoking is a bit harder. so far we've managed to cut back by only smoking a portion of a cigarette at a time, then going back to it

That sounds like a lot of changes to have to deal with at once. I admire her strength and yours.

Baby steps - every little bit helps!

Sounds like she's doing great, considering. :thumbsup2

Lots of love to you and to Jules, Jeff. You're lucky to have each other to lean on during these tough times.

She's in my thoughts and prayers daily.

Hang in there! with each passing day things should get easier with routine.btw... tell her not to worry about managing the scooter at the Wally Mart.. I have been using my power chair for nearly 10 years... and I STILL knock stuff down.... and ask the hubbie ....he has a few squashed toes too;)
