I booked the FTP for DH, DD and myself for the end of October. Was telling my Mom about it and she said that she and my Step Dad might like to go along. Would I be able to add a room and two more adults with the FTP onto my existing reservation??? Or would I need to just reserve a room and get them regular park hopper tickets.

Can anyone help???

The best thing to do would be to call and ask to get an official answer. Since the FTP is over, I don't know if they would add another room.

Try explaining to the first CM that you speek to that you want to modify and existing fairytale package and is there someone who specialized in those packages.

I had some interesting experiences when I upgraded to LV concierge. One CM said I would have to cancel my FTP and rebook without the package - ouch!
Called back, new CM said "Let me get someone who worked specially with those packages." He said We would just pay the upgrade for the 4 nights because of FTP. Anotherwords we could keep the package and do the upgrade just paying the difference in the room for 4 nights.

Hope I was clear - not sure I was. Just be persistant and try calling back to speak with a different CM if your not getting anywhere.

Good Luck!

Let us know what happens. I may have to do the same thing with some of our family! If Disney would let us add another room to our package it would be so much easier!!

Thanks

I called and the answer is ---- I had to book the other room under the Dream Makers Package. Our room at ASMu for 3 (2 adults, 1 child 6yo) was 1279.83 with insurance. The other room for 2 adults at ASMu was 1506.00. Both with Ultimate Park Hopper Tickets.

So, no you can not add on another room to the FTP. Still not a bad rate, but the FTP was definetely the deal.

Watch for AP or code rates to come out for your dates. It may be worth it for one of your parents to get an AP for the room discount. You don't have to have the AP in hand to make the reservation, just have it at check-in. If a code rate comes out, then you wouldn't need the AP, they could just buy park hoppers or buy the UPH separate.
