We keep offering to have E's mom live with us.. she ever so politely declines.. I think she's scared that I will make her eat vegetables.

Besides, the aliens will miss her.

We always had Easter at my moms house... They had a huge, empty back yard. There was no place to hide anything! I am looking forward to coloring eggs this year.. We had to much fun decorating cookies, I know it will be a blast coloring eggs.

We do cascarones -- usually for April Fool's day, sometimes at Easter. We don't typically celebrate Easter.

When I was lil my family called me "bunny" since my siblings had a hard time saying my name as little kids. My aunt is the one who started it "she looks like a little bunny rabbit"-- anyway, it stuck and I was tortured being called Bun Bun and other things ... being the youngest is just SOOOOO much fun

Anyway, because of that my mom would get me something with a rabbit on it at Easter time. Stuffed animals, toys,tiny tin pail with candy inside. We did the egg coloring, no one would eat them... We made the ukraine eggs one year --- decorating with wax /dye or other crafts.. but not much else to celebrate.. besides eating a big ole ham.

Guess that kinda stuck and we don't have any traditions.

W dont have any traditions either. All of ours revolved around my parents, then they moved.. Now its just us, and I want to get my kids into stuff. I also want us to go to church, but dh is just NOT feeling that.

Male cat came slinking by yesterday-- leaving a "present " of scent for Poly(it sprayed the front of our grill)... yuck!

Hubby spritzed the whole patio with lemon scented cleaner.

She is an altered cat.. guess the scent from rubbing her cheeks out there is enough to attract other cats.
