Do you guys want to know what they showed? It was one thing (not involving the entire hotel room) but now I'm going to be paranoid!

 I have seen that before! Creepy, huh?

oh... I just wanted to let you all know that apparently, my baby has a tail. :confused3 Who knew? But she says its there!:lmao:
DS3 has had a tail off and on, too. Oh, and in with the Halloween stuff he found a set of black cat ears (headband) and velcro tail, and he insisted on wearing them. He was preening around the house, giggling and meowing, so naturally I had to take pictures. He loved shaking his little tail at me. :cat:

She is watching Tigger and Pooh, and Darby is looking for her tail. But, since she is a little girl, she doesnt have one. :confused3 I guess Mikalah thinks she should have one too!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I don't know what kind of oil my dad used, all I know is it's BAAAAAD NEWS! You'd think because my body doesn't tolerate fried foods well that I'd stop eating them, but DANG IT! French fries still taste good! Your potatoes sound yummy! :lmao:

It sounds like he was using regular oil, if you fry a turkey, you have to use peanut oil, and also inject marinade into the bird. we use Tony Cachere creole butter to marinade, and the oil HAS to be about 350. I also put a cajun spice rub on the outside. The oil should not go into the meat, the skin seals when you put it in, and the marinade "steams" into the meat. It takes about three minutes a pound, and the skin comes out a golden brown. I can do a 17 to 18 pound turkey in about an hour! the meat of a fried turkey is very moist, even the white meat!

DW cannot tolerate to much fried food, and never has a problem with the fried turkey!

MMMMmmmmmmmmm.

AAGGHH! With all the bedbug talk in early 2006 I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to sleep in a hotel ever again. PM her, I don't want to know!!!

I know!! I was so freaked out to go to DL.. Now I get all freaked out if I wake up with a bug bite!:rotfl2:

Maybe it was the marinade he used that made it taste funky. Neither DH nor I liked it at all. As for the oil... :confused3 All I know is that I thought I was gonna die. :rotfl:

OMG, that freaked me out!! I read that post and was all paranoid!! At the time I read that I left for Chicago shortly after for my cousin's wedding. We stayed at a hotel that I was not familiar with and it was my first time to Chicago.

Thankfully my older sister and I researched online and this place had nice rooms, comfy beds, internet access in the room for our laptops and their bedding was all hypoallergenic.

The seasonal travellers that saw the video tapes were freaked. They said that it proves that paying tons of money for a 5 star hotel does not guarantee cleanliness! :scared1:

I guess not! From now on, I bring my own cups!:lmao:

11:00 and time for me to get to bed.

Have a good night, guys! :cloud9:

:lmao: :rotfl2: The Simpsons right now has the intro and they made it look like the Wonder Years with the theme song and everything!! :rotfl2:

Right after 9/11 I was on the road a lot, and DW got me a travel kit that had a little collapseable metal travel cup! I always used that, and the plastic wrapped styrofoam cups! (o.k. a LITTLE parnoid!)
