Next time you go, don't go on a cruise! DW and I went on the Ferry system, had a cabin to ourselves, and stayed at B&B's, the total cost was less than a third of the cost of a cruise, AND we were there for two weeks. We were souvineer shopping at some of the stores near the pier. When the clerks found out that we were not on a cruise ship, the prices dropped about 70 to 75 percent! (the ship had left) The problem is we are not really big souvineer buyers, just some small stuff for the kids etc. We got all kinds of good deals that way, including a free parking pass for our rental car!

I think we got a good deal on the cruise since it was during summer time. It was a lot of fun and the crew was awesome. I remember my mom bought an expensive ring from one of the shops on board the ship. She got home and the stone had fallen out. She contacted them, told her to ship it back and she did. They NEVER sent it back.

Hi Christina,

Thanks for the compliments on DH. Yes driving a big rig is not easy. And he happens to drive one of biggest rigs around. He hauls huge contruction and farm equipment around on a lowbed. There are times when he needs a pilot car to lead the way. One of his biggest pet peeves are truckers who don't know what they are doing, and everyday drivers, who don't seem to be aware that trucks can not stop or switch lanes fast. It's un-real what cars will do in front of him, or when they are trying to get on the freeways. There is only so much room for him to get over, and when he can't, some cars just keep going over like he can get out of the way. He can't believe they won't slow down.
Anyways, how are you, besides not getting fat on Halloween candy?
I read your post the other day about the Scots and their drinking. I always heard alot about the Irish, but I didn't know the Scots liked to too! Yucky....pee and barf on the roads!

I'm glad your DH was able to turn around with the big rig. That's terrible that they gave him bad directions.

I haven't eaten the mickey pretzel in years. I decided to try it again today and it had a funny taste.

i know right...i dont like it either and thats sad...but I do love wetzel pretzel...besides getting my traditional jalpeno cheese one I also got the one that has a ton of different cheeses in it...was good ...andrea and the kids liked it as well...

I noticed that DL has Christmas items already. It seemed kinda strange that they skip Thanksgiving and jump straight to Christmas.

now see...didnt read anything I wrote about my trip....because if you had you would have seen that I already posted that...they made some change overs on thursday night after park closed...

I'm so mad at my son now. He lost his cape to his Superman costume. We have looked everywhere. Our house is a mess to begin with because of the remodeling and such.

He lost it about a week ago. I stupidly let him play with it. I usually have a strict rule of no playing in halloween costumes til Nov. 1st then play all you want but he looked so cute in it I decided to give in. Next time I'll be tougher.

I like the stitch idea. This will be the first halloween I dont dress up since we are not having a party!

I used to dress up at work but I didn't last year. I was the queen from snow white, grim reaper, a cast member and now I'll be Stitch.

Then I have been Wendy from Peter Pan, Mrs Potts (that was an awesome costume!) Cinderella, Maleficient and I wanted to be the queen of hearts with Morgan as Alice but I'll have to wait another year!

Oooh... Mrs. Potts sounds like fun! I wanted to be the queen of hearts one year too, but the costume was too expensive.
