HELP!!! Why isnt someone here to tell me what to do? I can get us floor seats to playhouse disney... What to do, what to do?

My kitchen is done! Took me all day, but it looks awesome and I have 7 bags of stuff to take to the Goodwill or nephew. Then I went through my clothes, purses and shirts. I added another 4 bags. I think I'll start on DS's bedroom tomorrow! Everything is so clean and organized in my kitchen!! Just have to keep everyone out of it so it stays that way!

BBQ sounds awesome Bernice, but a bit cold to do that tonight. We just had a bit of freezing rain earlier this afternoon. DD is racing indoors at the fairgrounds tonight and is supposed to race outside tomorrow. But it won't surprise me if they cancel it because of frozen ground.

Sounds like you had fun shopping Staley. I saw some people between our local Target & Kohl's store. They had their travel trailer hooked up to their truck. What an awesome idea! I think I might do that next year on Black Friday. Just spend the night, get up when people start arriving. Come back to the trailer and have lunch!

Friday when we were shopping DS sees this nice little cart with baskets that he wants. He tells me that his room would stay cleaner if he could have that to put all of his stuff in.

Just 1 problem. He has the exact same one in his closet!!!!!

Not just any cart with baskets, but the same exact plastic one, in the same exact colors. You've probably seen them. Red, Yellow & Blue baskets that stack & they are on casters so you can push them around. It was just too funny! Actually I was quite impressed that a 9yo boy would think of getting an organizational item, especially when he crams dirty clothes under his bed and his room is a totally unorganized mess!

Just wait until I get in his room tomorrow and start getting rid of things!

I also need to clean out above my kitchen cabinets. I have tuscan style silk flowers & greenery all around the top of them. Then I have wine racks, bottles with pickled veggies & fruits and a couple of topiaries. They are starting to look really dusty and have cobwebs hanging off of them! I don't want my cleaning lady to get up there, she's too old and I'm afraid she would hurt herself. So I guess tomorrow would be a good day to do that. I hate to have a clean kitchen and dusty stuff up above!

Seriously though, I would totally drive myself crazy cleaning if I stayed home all the time. I love cleaning & organizing. I hate cleaning bathrooms, but I love to clean out closets, drawers, cabinets, etc.... I should have been one of those ladies that comes in and organizes peoples houses. Instead I chose to be an accountant so I can organize their money!

Hate to post and leave, but I didn't think anyone would be here and I just ran some bath water before I got on the computer. So I need to go wash some of this kitchen grime off of me. I'll be back in a little bit!

hey Alison? I booked at the CCI for our up coming trip.. I booked one room for the 24th-27. I have that squared away, unless we decide to stay somewhere else.

I'm interested!! But if it doesn't work out for all of us to fit in one room.. that's cool too.

Cool!!!!! I'm back, got the litter box changed and took my bath. I feel much better now. Amazing how dirty you get cleaning! Does the dirt just transfer from your stuff onto your person??

FunnyG, you're an indoor cat expert. What type of kitty litter do you recommend. Our little ones have to stay indoors until the spring when they are bigger and the weather is better. But I'm having a horrible time with stinky litter box. I keep changing it, scooping, adding deodorizer, etc... What are the tricks? It's going to be a long winter!!! I'll be looking forward to spring when they can go out into the woods and do their thing!

My SIL gave me her kitty litter advice. But to be honest her house stinks like a cat box, so I'm not going to follow her advice! I just didn't have the heart to tell her that what she's doing isn't working!

Not a problem Bernice. We are all so short we can just sleep on the beds sideways. Bet we can fit 5 of us on a bed that way!

Hey Albort! Sorry you're having such a rough time at work. I really do think you need to polish up that resume. I know you have school hours to work around, but it couldn't hurt to look. Who knows you might just find the perfect job!

Its like this, so i push my cart out to my Ice Cream cart (one by Golden Dreams). Guess what happens, No umbrella!!! So my stocker calls on the radio and apparently due to a wind adversary this morning, no Umbrellas for ANY of the carts with no shade. There is like a 1 mph wind only. Apparently it was cancelled earlier but wasnt mentioned.

Soooooo, it took them almost 3 hours to BRING ME A FREAKIN UMBRELLA. Now today, it felt like 90-95 degree. It was HOOOOT, and i really felt like passing out too... :'(

I was like well, you can bring me an umbrella and not open it... You know whats their reason for not doing so? because it doesnt look pretty for the guest!

Despite continuous mentioning and punishing on bad safety on us, they put OUR SAFETY before guest.

I know, i should look for another job. I still enjoy it when everything is done properly...

Also found out one of my leads are leaving due to the same manager i am having problems with... BOOOOOO!

Not me!!! If everyone who wants to go ends up going, I think that 2 rooms should do us good! That would put 2 in one room, and 3 in the other. I booked a deluxe room, they only allow a rollaway in a deluxe, not a standard room. But it is only $10. more per night, so no big!

yeah... its already hard to get promoted. Its really on who is sucking up to the one manager that does the promotion crap...

So a lot of us start to slack off. Really nothing to motivate us... just full of punishments...

Sorry Albort. When I started worked at WDW there was a hiring freeze but they still let all the college program kids come in. Basically because we were cheap labor.... Anyway, I remember this strike looming and picketing outside EPCOT CM entrance that everyone hated Eisner. I always thought how should they go out and be happy to guests after all this??? Anyway, because of the hiring freeze we were treated badly by many of the seasoned cm's since their aunt or friend, so and so couldnt get hired but we did. It was tough for awhile. Goes to show you lots happen backstage that makes the job at Disney just like any other job with BS out there but at Disney its put on a happy face for the guests so they dont know. Thats what I always liked about it.

that is horrible ! because you know when i went i was totally looking to see if there were umbrellas next to the cart instead of being up..
