I take a lot of pictures but since we go 2-3 day trips sometimes I just want to enjoy them and so I wont take any. I got a new camera though and I was playing around with it. When we went back to KS for 2 weeks I took almost 2000 pictures of things we've seen a million times. Of course Lisa in them made them beautiful!

I'm all a sniffley and sinus headachey today.. along with cramps and generally being crabby I knew I was PMSing last night.. cleaning the apartment in my nightie at 10 oclock at night.. crabbing about messy people not cleaning up after themselves... Hubby wisely said "yes dear" and let me clean wihout interference (though you could tell he thought I was looney)

You should have seen me last week.. I was PMSing so bad, that I almost killed the whole family! I was angry at dh for working so much overtime, and the kids were making me soo mad. The house was dirty, and I was crabby... But it is over now, my house is still messy, my kids are still bratty, and dh is still working a ton of over time.... But I dont care, because I am taking cold medicine!

My MIL is waiting for similar news, she has a bite on her home. Waiting on some water testing the buyer wanted done. Sounds like he wanted it for hunting purposes.. she owns 40 acres of wood/wetland.
She joked with us that she "hopes to be homeless by Christmas"

I know!!! Things finally seem to be falling into place. DH is so less stressed - I have my old DH back!!! He went to the community college today - they have a satellite campus for NAU here, and he is planning on getting his teaching degree all from right here - then he has a back up plan, and he can do something eventually that he loves!!!

Congrats on the house!! Want to go to the ladies days at DL and flip the bill? See........... I'm suggesting something way cheaper that Grumpy's idea on WDW. Aren't you thankful for good friends like me to help you save money, and time?

OK.............. really............ I'm so glad that whole ordeal is done for you. I truly hope you guys are happy in your new home and town. Will you try and invest in a new home soon, or are you going to wait awile?

woohoo! Happy hubbys are a good thing

That's wonderful news about pursuing a teaching degree, as a more "expereinced" (vs saying older) student he will find it very rewarding to attain the degree. Makes for a better teacher too IMO, there are wonderful 20 something yr old teachers.. but the extra life experience of raising children and being in the workplace for awhile does make a difference.

We signed a 6 month rental agreement - I had to get out of the condo and into a house before winter time, so we will wait until at least January to look. The good news is the market is very similar to the one in Phoenix (an excellent buyers market), so many of the house we looked at in July are still available, for less money. We will definitely plan to be in something at least April 1st, if not sooner. This too will allow us to see what roads are best maintained in the winter - there are so many great houses available that something like that might be a determining factor.

What are the dates for the Ladies only trip??? Did Shawna make up her mind if she was going (way back when she said she would kidnap me and take me with her, granted I had never met her before when that happened)
