It is around 50 here, thank goodness we are walking to the store tomorrow...me and 23 2ndg graders to buy food to have a feast on monday. I love the warmer weather...i hate closed toe shoes and coats.
Hiya, bb! :)

Wow! What are you going to make? Cooking involved?

I never can figure out what to do with my coat when I'm shopping. Thats one of the things I love about Phoenix. We typically dont wear coats just a long sleeve t-shirt or a light sweater (if its really cold like 60 degrees!)

If it's not too cold out I don't bring my coat into the store, I just dash in as quick as I can. Otherwise I'll wear my coat through the store, unless the store's heat is too hot. I hate having to carry my coat. Less hands free for shopping, ya know!

Exactly! The stores seem too hot and I walk around bundled up like a burrito I hate it!

instead of "Where are you Christmas" we should all sing "Where are you Winter" We could have cami tank tops on, short shorts and flip flops with hair in a pony tail!!! :lmao:

I walked into the grocery store and was shocked at all the pumpkin pie stuff around. I said geez this is early til the guy next to me said it was next week. Hard to get excited about Thanksgiving when you have the air conditioner blowing all the time!

I went to WalMart on the way to work and they had pumpkin pies right by the door. I wanted to buy one so bad...but I was a good girl and only bought nonfat cottage cheese and low fat yogurt.

Wow, 72 would be heavenly! It's currently 50 here, though weather.com says "feels like 48". AMEN! At least the sun peeks out every now and then.

GEESH, I do not miss the working world! This time of year I would go to work in the dark, and get home in the dark, it was just awful. I felt like a mole! At least now I can see the sun occasionally, and at least see daylight!

It's dark when I leave for work (at 5:30am) but at least I get off at 3:00pm. I've had these hours for the last 5 years and I really like them better than 8-5.

Geesh between Hannah and Dl I took 235 pictures!!!

you'll find out about my new camera in my TR!

I wanna see some pictures!!!

Shawna, you said last night that you'd seen TRs where readers had posted comments trashing the TR, were you serious? What on earth could they trash? It's somebody else's vacation, for pete's sake!

ya know what it was snoodledoos or something like that where they trashed her for cutting in line. OR they trashed her for getting mad someone cut in line I cant remember but it got a little ugly. Not hugely ugly like my feet but sort of ugly.

Ohhh, I think I did see something like that. I don't remember if it was in a TR or not, but I have seen a hot discussion of whether it was OK to have part of your party in line while the other part joins you before you board the ride.

I suppose if you hit on any of those hot buttons in your TR it might open that can of worms. GEESH! Stay away from the refillable mugs, cutting in line, and for pete's sake don't mention strollers or scooters! :rotfl:

You know what? We should make a list of all the hot topics on the DIS, and then write a phony trip report hitting every single one of them! :lmao:

Ok I have this one part where I did jump a stroller and ran through like I did in my old CM days! Maybe I should leave that out!!! :rolleyes1

ok seriously got to go now!

peace out!

Wouldn't it? ;)

And you missed out on our Trial of the Century way back in the beginning of the thread. We have some pretty talented and creative writers among the hyenas! :lmao:

:rotfl2: crap alex I really have to go and now you bring up the trial!

That was one to outdo OJ! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Ok Ok BYE!

Martha Steward is putting a cute crust top onto a ginormous apple pie! I've never seen a pie so hugely heaped with apples!

Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's all done. The apples (uncooked) look like they could just tumble right out of the heap all over the table. Won't it drip or spill while it bakes?

Interesting! The top crust of the pie looked a little overdone, but since it's Martha, I'm sure it wasn't. ;)

And the heap o' apples cooked down, of course. It was still a huge pie, but didn't look like it was going to crash any minute. It looked really good!

Ok...A question for all you bakers out there. I need a good recpie for Pumpkin Pie Fudge. I had some at Magic Mountain on Sunday and it was GOOD!!! I found a few on line but I don't even know which one would be the best. Some call for corn syrup, some call for mini marshmellow, some call for vannila chips...

Hello everyone! Just me popping in again to say hi. I hope everyone is having a good day. I've seen quite a few of you on the DL trip thread and I'm excited!!! Can't wait to meet ya'll.

Oh, and about the pumpkin fudge here is a link to one of my favorite sites for recipes. You can read the reviews and it gives you more of an insight to how the recipe will really turn out. Hope that helps!!

Talk to you guys again sometime!! :)

Wow, what a lightweight. I took 1275 on our first trip to DL... :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Of course some were terrible, there were only 800 or so that I actually printed. I took a lot less this last trip, but I haven't counted them up yet. I told DH that I was surprised I took so fewer pictures, and he actually snorted at me and said he DOUBTED I took less. He will pay for that once (I count them...)
this summer we had 502 on photo pass, 1000 on our digital and 15 rolls of film. Lots of pics, going back in 3 1/2 weeks!
