I was so happy that we had some rain over the weekend. Now it's back to scorchville USA. I don't like it at all. :sad2:

If we get more rain I'll send it to you UPS RED! ;)

LOL isnt UPS BROWN!

Ok I am loading pics in bulk to photobucket. I've never done it before so it might not go smoothly.

I dont have time to start the TR but maybe I'll post a link and say "here will be my future TR" :lmao:

It's been pretty cool here the last few days. It's 72 right now. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 80! :scared1: Where is winter?

instead of "Where are you Christmas" we should all sing "Where are you Winter" We could have cami tank tops on, short shorts and flip flops with hair in a pony tail!!! :lmao:

I walked into the grocery store and was shocked at all the pumpkin pie stuff around. I said geez this is early til the guy next to me said it was next week. Hard to get excited about Thanksgiving when you have the air conditioner blowing all the time!

DS7 began playing soccer and basketball at age 5, and did well. He learned the fundamentals, began to understand how to play as a team (talk to one another, pass the ball, help each other, etc.) There was a huge leap of improvement in his confidence at age 6, and an even bigger leap in his skill level and interest this year, it's amazing!

DS3 just is too young for that yet. I understood that at this age he might not be very good at playing, but I expected he'd enjoy it and want to learn. He was so eager while watching DS7 play all these years! But he just didn't get it! He thought they each should have a ball, and be able to kick it wherever they wanted to, and stop whenever they felt like it, and don't anybody take the ball I'm playing with!

I don't know why I thought he would be able to grasp all this at age 3, I'm still working on creating a civil dining experience! :rotfl:

You've given me hope though, Shawna. Maybe it's just age related, and If he's not ready by age 4, that's fine, he may not even be ready by 5 like DS7. I tell you what, he rocks at the gymnastics, though! If he just likes individual sports, so be it! I just want him to have a good time!

Where are you Winter? Why can't I find you? Why have you gone away? My world is changing.....I'm dehydrating...:rolleyes1

Wow, 72 would be heavenly! It's currently 50 here, though weather.com says "feels like 48". AMEN! At least the sun peeks out every now and then.

GEESH, I do not miss the working world! This time of year I would go to work in the dark, and get home in the dark, it was just awful. I felt like a mole! At least now I can see the sun occasionally, and at least see daylight!

That is awesome that he is good at gymnastics. Better yet he enjoys it! Very cool:thumbsup2

Jake had a tough time last year when he just turned 4. He will be 3 weeks away from 5 when this next season starts. His confidence has skyrocketed this year. WOW 1 year made a huge difference. WE are really nervous about it but he is the one who came to me and asked so I felt we had to give it a try. I'll let you know how it goes! :thumbsup2

Would you mind turning on a Vornado and blowing some of that cool weather to Los Angeles? :)

It is around 50 here, thank goodness we are walking to the store tomorrow...me and 23 2ndg graders to buy food to have a feast on monday. I love the warmer weather...i hate closed toe shoes and coats.

Geesh between Hannah and Dl I took 235 pictures!!!

you'll find out about my new camera in my TR!
Wow, what a lightweight. I took 1275 on our first trip to DL... :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Of course some were terrible, there were only 800 or so that I actually printed. I took a lot less this last trip, but I haven't counted them up yet. I told DH that I was surprised I took so fewer pictures, and he actually snorted at me and said he DOUBTED I took less. He will pay for that once (I count them...)

:rotfl2: I take a lot of pictures but since we go 2-3 day trips sometimes I just want to enjoy them and so I wont take any. I got a new camera though and I was playing around with it. When we went back to KS for 2 weeks I took almost 2000 pictures of things we've seen a million times. Of course Lisa in them made them beautiful! :flower3:

I never can figure out what to do with my coat when I'm shopping. Thats one of the things I love about Phoenix. We typically dont wear coats just a long sleeve t-shirt or a light sweater (if its really cold like 60 degrees!)
